The Forces

The four unite as one

In a vibrant clash of blue, brown, white, and red

Canceling out and then surging forward

None greater than the other

Yet others are more powerful

The forces of nature

The wind an invisible tangle of force

The water a powerhouse of waves and might

The fire an avenging hungry beast

And the earth, the ever bending ever shifting

The great clash of the four titans

A spectacular feat

Of crimson, azure, ashen and russet

Ashen

We hear it and yet never see it

It swirls around us

Bending the trees and raging storms as it wills

It has a sound on cold eerie nights

It has a song by the sea

That it is the wind, this you will know

But you're blind to its force

Azure

Our greater half

Beyond the eye can see

A slash in the storm

A wave of disappearance

The aid and healer of growth

Washing the blood and poison from the land

It counsels and nurtures

Crimson

Most destructive

A hungry fiend that ravages

Looked at as a demon but,

Can be renewal of life and immunity

Russet

It holds great beauty and light

But it also has great shadows and predators in the night

It takes many shapes

In small particles or solid and rocky

The light shines among all

But there is a sinister shadow that looms over the beings that walk among it

Although all may be dark, there are few the abyss does not touch

Those few walk among the glory of the light

Because they know what's right and are not afraid of the dark

They try to ignore it and rise above it, but through so much does darkness how can a slim ray of light pass?

In the end the darkness destroys itself

And only the few gleaming rays of illumination will endure
