The Big Gig
Corey's point of view
"Ok we have 2 days until the Big Gig and we have no lyrics and Trina's gone, what are we going to do?" I ask as the band stays silent. Laney then walks up to me and yells that "I need inspiration" I think about what she says as I realize that I have no inspiration unless you count my crush on Laney an inspiration. I quickly walk up and down the steps of the stage and I get it. I quickly grab my notebook and start writing. It takes about ten minutes to finish writing and as I show the band they all gasp. "Core, you finally did it" Laney yells as I hug her as my face turns red. "We better practice to make sure we get it right.
1 day later
"Core you need to tell me how you wrote those lyrics." Lanes is still telling me. "It's a secret" I tell her smirking. I want to tell my feelings after the song and I can hope she agrees.

Laney's point of view
Damn Core your making my life harder I need to know how he wrote those lyrics, what if he has a crush on someone and it isn't me. I only hope not. He's making me nervous what if he does like someone else. "Ok band, tomorrow I want you to wear a suit" Core points to the twins "and a dress" he points to me. Thank god I have one. I leave after practice running to sleep. I don't want to fall asleep during the gig :P
Big Gig Day
I walk over to the garage and I'm in a green dress that I own and as I walk in I see Core in a tux. Damn it only makes me more nervous. Core breaks the silence. "You look beautiful Lanes." This comment makes me blush as I say "you don't look bad either." Again more silence until the twins walk in wearing ... normal clothing. "Wtf guys?" Corey yells at them as I watch them run out and appear in 5 minutes in suits. "Better" Corey says as we pack up. I sit next to Core in the car. "Can you tell me where you got lyrics from now?" I ask Core hopefully. "I'll tell after the song" he tells me making me panic. He does like someone and is going to announce it after the song. I stay silent for the rest of the ride. As we walk out I'm glad I wore a dress everyone is in fancy clothing. "Attention Grojband is now performing" a man yells as we get on stage.

The crowd go wild as the song end and Corey walks up to the mic "thank you all, this song goes to a special someone here." The Crowd awed at the comment. "It goes to the one the only, Laney Penn" at this crowd clap and I look at Core he is smiling and I signal him behind the curtain. "Ok Core thanks for lying for me" I say but he looks hurt from this. "I meant every word" I look to see him look serious as I kiss him "I feel like that too" I say after the kiss.
