The day is bright and sunny. The scene is set in a beautifully preserved graveyard. A dark blue car pulls up outside the church and two familiar figures emerge.

CHANDLER: All I'm saying is, I think you should be safe than sorry.

MONICA: Chandler, I am fine. Leave it. Today isn't about me, it's about Phoebe.

CHANDLER: You're right. I'm sorry.

MONICA: It seems a shame to wake them.

CHANDLER: It's been a long journey. Anyway, a graveyard is no place for two three year olds.

MONICA: You think?

CHANDLER: I'll wake them just before the ceremony begins. No point in doing it before.

MONICA: I wonder whether everyone's inside.

CHANDLER: Is everyone coming?

MONICA: Well I'd have thought so. I know Rachel and Ross can make it, I assume Joey can.

CHANDLER: You never know. Joey's a big star now, his career is all he's got. Well, not all ..

MONICA: Yeah. He has his looks and his personality and his …

CHANDLER: Intelligence?

MONICA: You've got to admit, he's improved his IQ by an easy five per cent.

Another car pulls up behind Monica and Chandlers. Two more familiar faces step out.

RACHEL: Oh my god! Monica.

MONICA: Hey, how are you?

RACHEL: I'm good, I'm good. How are you?

MONICA: We're all good.

ROSS: Is there any sign of Phoebe yet?

CHANDLER: We think she could be inside.

ROSS: Shall we go in?

MONICA: What about Joey?

CHANDLER: I don't think we'll be waiting long.

A yellow taxi pulls up outside the church. Joey emerges.

JOEY: Hey guys!

CHANDLER: Well don't you look smart.

JOEY: I know! I'm sure the producers won't mind me borrowing it.

ROSS: You stole the tux?

JOEY: Borrowed!

CHANDLER: Okay, guys, let's go inside.

The gang, minus Phoebe, move inside the church. They see a familiar face, facing the front of the church, sitting right at the front.

RACHEL: Phoebes?

PHOEBE: Oh my god. Thank you so much for coming.

Phoebe stands up and reveals a huge bump on her stomach.

PHOEBE: I was going to tell you.

JOEY: Tell us what?

OPENING CREDITS

REVEREND: And we now commit his body to the ground.

PHOEBE: I love you, Mike. Thank you, everyone.

MONICA: Phoebes? Do you need some time?

PHOEBE: Yeah.

The gang exit after all comforting Phoebe.

PHOEBE: What have we come to, Mike? Huh? Why did you have to do it? I need you, our baby needs you. You're a fool but I love you. I always will. We'll meet again one day. I'm sure of that.
