FANFICTION LABYRINTH:WE ALL NEED A LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS
Prologue
Well hello!
This is my first attempt to write a fanfic and English is not my native language.
But I adore reading fanfiction (change that, I might be obsessed with it).
That's why I am writing this story.
I do not own Labyrinth or the characters. If I did, there would have been a sequel by now.
I was running. In no direction and with no purpose. Just running.
The only feeling that went through me was desperation.
My surroundings were a question mark since my eyes could only see the darkness.
In the end I couldn't stop even though I wanted to stop every passing moment.
The only thing that kept me going was my gut that was telling me that I was here for an unknown reason.
But my legs started to feel like lead and the only thing my gut was feeling at that instant was nausea.
And just when I was about to collapse, a voice called out to me.
There was something familiar in that voice.
I never knew someone could sound so cold and warm at the same time.
With the world spinning around me, I tried to comprehend where it came from.
In a way I felt the need to go and find the velvet voice that called my name in need.
In a way I needed a purpose in this dark hole.
I needed to find a light.
But exhaustion was taking its toll as I fell upon my knees .
The voice became quieter by the second, like it was moving further away from me.
Panting and struggling to get up on my feet moving I did my best to shout.
Nothing but a raspy 'wait' came out of my throat, not even loud enough to be heard as a whisper.
With great difficulty I managed to take two steps before fate decided differently.
I tripped and lost all control of my balance and body.
Only to fall into an endless hole.
Fearing and hoping for the moment it would end.
I know it is short and not really telling a lot, but it is a prologue.
For the people who have already read the prologue, I changed the end a bit.
