Author's note: Ok guys, we all saw what happened when Nero had his little trip through Fortuna, later switching onto Dante, who cleaned up the mess that Nero left behind. But, what happened with Dante while Nero was hunting him down and searching for Kyrie? And, when Dante went to take out the infestation, what was Trish getting done during that time? Here's a look into the events of the other side of Devil May Cry 4.

Devil May Cry 4: Welcome to Fortuna
Chapter 1: Dante's Arrival
The boat ride. The most annoying part of Dante's trip so far was definitely the boat ride. He managed to get to his destination, but when you spend 7 hours in a goddamn dinghy, during a huge storm, it doesn't matter if you're a half-devil or not. You're still gonna get drenched.
Dante was walking along a set of old docks located at Cape San Lucas, Mexico. He took notice of an old man holding a sign saying "Tony". Bingo.
The hunter walked up to the man and said, "Hey old man. Looking for a boat ride to unknown islands, much?"
The man grew a big smile on his tanned wrinkly face. "You blonde friend arrived here four hour ago!" He said in a heavy Spanish accent. "I take you to boat, but watch out for storm! Will get to you!", he laughed as he directed Dante to the boat.
Dante slightly wrinkled his nose at the state of the boat. It was a dinghy, hand was almost completely covered in rust. Had he not been part demon, he'd be a bit worried about getting tetanus in that thing. "One of my best, I think. You take care of her. Have fun!"
Dante soon departed the docks and headed out for open sea. This was going to be a nightmare.
Dante cringed at the memory. He began to walk up the dock, away from his destroyed 'ride', and headed towards the streets. His cell began to ring. As he pulled it from his coat, he came to realise that it was still in one piece. Sweet! "Hello?" he said.
"It's Trish. You arrived?"
"Yeah... now where the hell did you go?", the hunter asked, an annoyed look on his face.
"That doesn't matter right now. What does is that you have to get your lazy ass over to the opera house! Follow the main road from the dock, then go down Rigel street. It's got a huge plaza next to it, so you shouldn't miss it. Your target's the old priest who should be conducting the seminar there. Any knights you sense that are a bit off, kill them. They're demons. They're turning the whole order into demons, so you should watch out."
Dante cut her off. "You're forgetting who I am, babe. Don't worry. I'll sort out this rabble."
"Okay… well get that done and then go find me. If you spot any more demons around, take them out. Seeya soon!" With that, the blonde huntress hung up. Dante looked up at the rooftops, then looked around to make sure noone was watching.
It was clear. With that, he leapt up onto the rooftop, beginning his journey from up high.
He had a job to do, and he damn well hoped Lady was gonna pay him for it.
