A 6 year old Hikaru was walking through the forest looking for some flowers when she heard a rustling in the bushes.
"Who's there"Hikaru asked walking over to the bush.
"Stop don't come closer"the voice frantically said when she was in front of the bush.
"Why not"Hikaru asked putting her hands on her hips.
"Because…..because I said so"the voice said. Hikaru guessed that was the only response the person could think of.
"Come out"Hikaru demanded.
"No"the person said.
"Well then i'll come in there"Hikaru said reaching her hand inside the bush. "Ow"she said yanking her hand out of the bush. She was surprised when she saw the bite mark on her hand.
"You-You bit me"Hikaru said shocked that someone would bite her.
"I told you no"the voice said.
"Why not I just wanna know who you are"Hikaru said. There was no answer and Hikaru was growing impatient. Finally she leapt through the bush. She was surprised when she saw a boy around her age underneath her.
"Ow what was that for"the boy asked struggling to get her off of him.
"You're a boy"Hikaru said shocked. She quickly got off of him and just sat beside him.
"Of course i'm a boy"the boy said rubbing his head as he sat up.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm Hikaru"Hikaru said holding a hand out towards him. The boy just glared at it making no move to shake it.
"Why are you here anyway this is my hiding spot"the boy said.
"I was picking some flowers for my mommy why are you here"Hikaru asked.
"None of your business"the boy said hmmping and turning away from Hikaru.
"Won't you at least tell me your name"Hikaru asked.
"No"the boy said. Hikaru frowned for a moment before she thought of something.
"Fine then i'll just call you ghost"Hikaru said.
"Why"the boy asked.
"Because you're so pale"Hikaru said laughing as the boy frowned.
"I am not"the boy shouted tackling Hikaru to the ground.
"What're you doing"Hikaru asked.
"Take it back or i'll make you eat dirt"the boy said picking up a handful of dirt.
"Ok fine then what's your name"Hikaru asked looking at the dirt.
"Damian"the boy said finally getting off of her.
"So why are you here"Hikaru asked.
"I'm hiding"Damian finally said.
"It's not nice to hide from your mommy"Hikaru said scolding Damian.
"My mom is dead i'm hiding from a man"Damian said.
"Is he your daddy"Hikaru asked.
"Shh"Damian said pulling her behind the bush.
"What is it"Hikaru asked.
"I'm hiding from him"Damian whispered pointing to a man in the distance. Just looking at him sent chills down Hikaru's spine.
"That's Ziggurat"Damian whispered.
"Ah Damian there you are"the man said coming up to Damian and yanking him up off the ground by the arm. The man had a smile on his face but Hikaru could tell he wasn't friendly.
"You're hurting him"Hikaru said but the man didn't listen he just turned towards Hikaru still smiling.
"Is this your friend Damian"Ziggurat asked. Damian didn't answer he just looked at the ground.
"Is it"Ziggurat asked again yanking Damian's arm.
"Yes"Hikaru said so Damian wouldn't get hurt again. Damian looked up shocked she said she was his friend. He actually had a friend.
"Maybe she would like to come along with us then"Ziggurat said reaching for Hikaru.
"No she doesn't blade she was picking flowers"Damian said looking at Hikaru. Hikaru could tell by the look in his eyes that she shouldn't protest.
"Ok then let's go"Ziggurat said yanking Damian by the arm. Damian turned around and saw Hikaru looking at him with a look of sadness.
