A/N: kindacravingshortcake and I were discussing prompts so I decided to randomly pick a word from the dictionary and write a fic around that word. My word was Bacon. I remembered the season 5 episode of OTH where they were stuck in the library and they ordered a pizza with Canadian bacon on it. That gave me an idea. And also I really like the character of Mia and she, in my view, is kind of underappreciated… xD So here you go.

"So, what are we getting? What kind of pizza?" Brooke asked.

"I don't know, mushroom and sausage," Peyton said.

"Ooh, no mushrooms,"

"Ugh, Brooke," Peyton just wanted to work quickly.

"Actually I'm totally with Brooke." Mia said. "Canadian bacon?"
"Canadian Bacon, extra cheese!" Brooke agreed excitedly.

"Guys, seriously?" Haley was fed up.

"Just order the damn pizza!"

Mia had grabbed a couple of slices of pizza and retreated to a quiet corner shortly after Peyton and Lindsay had calmed down. She decided it was time to let the old friends spend time with each other after she discovered that Tim went to high school with the girls.

Mia liked being stuck in the library. She had a guitar, two slices of her favourite pizza and she was surrounded by thousands of books. It was heaven.

She felt bad that they were missing the game; though she herself wasn't bothered about some basketball game, it meant a lot to Peyton. Somehow it was like her way of reminiscing about the time she was in high school. She had read a part of Luke's book; she knew that he confessed his love or whatever to her during a basketball game; that was like one of the most well known stories.

Now that Lucas was with Lindsay, Mia knew that Peyton had come hoping things would change, just like it had over four years ago.

She picked off a piece of bacon from the pizza, deep in thought. She loved how she was getting closer to her dream. She was looking forward to everything - letting people hear her music, feeling the insane rush of a crowd cheering her on.

She thought about life; the first performance at Tric, Haley, Peyton. Everything.

It made the eighteen-year-old a little nervous thinking about the future; she knew that she was soon going to have to leave Peyton and Tree Hill and head out on her own if she was to go on tour and stuff.

Peyton had been supporting her from the start; she remembered when she was too scared to get up on stage at Tric and Haley and Peyton managed to help calm her down, and help her, and she turned out great. Better than great. Amazing. She smiled, not able to recall the last time she was so deep in thought.

Libraries were a good place to reflect. It was probably because it was full of books that she was thinking so unusually philosophically or deeply.

She popped the piece of Canadian bacon into her mouth.

A/N: just a random little fic. It's not very well written, but then again, it's basically Mia's thoughts…
