Lucy grasped the windowsill, taking a deep breath of the cool night air. The sky was the deepest blue she'd ever seen, the stars winked at her like so many fireflies.

She could see the constellation Leo, and Virgo on the horizon, just about to rise. The moon was bright and full, drenching Magnolia in silver light. Her mind churned like the ocean during a storm, her thoughts and feelings washing over her and leaving her gasping for breath.

The tears brimmed on her lower lash line. She could almost make out a shape in the stars, the shape of a girl and her bird.

A shape of someone she had fallen in love with.

The tear drops slid down her face, collecting on the tip of her chin. She reached out the window, her hand outstretched. Her fingers splayed against the deep blue of the star-flecked twilight.

Lucy imagined another hand pressed against hers, palm to palm, finger to finger. They were slightly larger than hers, her memory supplied. Lucy could almost see the difference in the lengths of their fingers. The tears collected on her chin splashed against the window frame.

It was so easy to be happy with everyone else. It was when she was alone that the tears came.

Her vision blurred and the stars came together, bright pinpricks of light grouping, rearranging themselves, forming a figure.

She was just as Lucy remembered, robes draped over her, hair pulled back, hoops dangling from her ears to her chin. Her eyes still held ages, but her sadness had faded.

The woman's starlit outline was filled with the suggestion of color. She gave of a shimmering silver luminescence.

"Eclair..." Lucy whispered, her voice warbling. Her tears fell harder, faster.

Fingertips tilted Lucy's head higher. Lucy looked into Eclair's eyes, instantly ensnared in their depth.

Eclair leaned forward, her eyelids fluttering closed, and pressed her starlight lips to Lucy's own. Lucy's eyes closed instinctively. She felt the lightest pressure on the delicate skin around her mouth. She leaned into the kiss, but it was only for a second. Eclair pulled away as quickly as she'd ducked in.

Eclair leaned back, cupping her hands around Lucy's jaw. Gently, she tucked a strand of blond hair behind Lucy's ear.

Her touch was ephemeral, fleeting, so quick, too quick, like the brush of a butterfly's wings.

The stars began to disperse, and Lucy leaned further out the window, watching them scatter back to their constellations in the sky.

"I love you," She whispered. The night sky seemed to catch her message and embrace it, before it blew away like another cool breeze.

She rested her head on the windowsill, tendrils of her hair pulled out and dancing in the wind off the canal.

Lucy could taste the starlight on her lips, dusty, sweet, like nothing she could ever explain, before she dozed off under the indigo of the star speckled sky.

Natsu found her like that the next morning, head rested on her crossed elbows, and shook her gently awake, "Come on, you weirdo," He grinned, "You've got such a comfortable bed. If you don't use it, I will."

She climbed to her feet, casting a quick glance to the daylight blue sky. Her eyes lingered before she smiled and turned around, following Natsu into her kitchen.

A/N: Well, that was short and random, but LuClair was killing my heartstrings. ;v;. Excuse me while I go sob over the movie, please. Anyway, the next one will be LuKino, or if you're unfamiliar, LucyxYukino. R&R, pretty please!
