A Rival Appears!
Chapter 1:
He hesitantly removed her pants, and then the only piece of clothing separating them from being naked was her underwear. Leo gazed at Yuiko as if he'd never seen anything more beautiful in the world. He leaned down slowly as her eyes closed, anticipating his lips on hers. He finally removed the last article of her clothing. Yes, it's about to happen! After a year, it's finally going to happen! Yuiko thought with glee. His lips met with hers, initiating a tender kiss in a moment so perfect, it almost felt like a dream.
"Mimi-chan…" He murmured.
Wait, what?
I woke up with a start, the most perfect dream chattered by one word. A word that was the name of a person—the name of a person I didn't know. I tilted my head to the side to see Leo's dark and childlike slanted eyes nearly shaded by his black ragged bangs, looking worried and confused. "Are you okay, Yuiko? Did you have a nightmare?"
I took a deep breath—in and out—hoping to expel the horrid dream I'd had. "As long as you're by my side, Leo, I'll be okay," I expressed, smiling to hopefully wash out his anxious expression.
"Don't worry, Yuiko! I'll always be by your side—I promise. And when I make a promise, I never go back on it, so you don't have to worry," he grinned assuredly at me. I smiled genuinely in response, most of my fears gone. Leo's smile and laugh had this infectious character about it that I couldn't help responding to, even when I first met him.
I looked around Leo's living room, hoping to find some inspiration as to what we could do to pass the time. "We finished our last exam, so we've got the rest of the day to laze about. Whaddya wanna do?" I asked.
"Hmm—" Leo's response was caught off by Toki, Leo's guardian, running into the room, panting. "Yuiko! I need to talk to you right—" His voice stopped with the bang of a door slamming against the wall. In the doorway was an even bigger surprise than having Toki nearly yelling at me in desperation, because it was a girl. A very beautiful girl. A very beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl. A girl who must be lost. A girl who was running toward Leo with her arms open. The same beautiful girl that went by the name "Mimi-chan!" according to what Leo called her. A name that was coincidentally the same as the one Leo called me in my dream…
"Leo!" She screamed, pulling his face towards hers so that their lips could meet.
Toki just looked at me sadly and said, "I'm sorry, Yuiko."
What is going on here?
