Prologue

How it all Started

It is Lucy's wedding day. Her soon to be husband Cal was waiting nervously for her bride to await. They were in Storybrooke.

"I don't know if I can do this," she says to Henry, her father in the dressing room.

"Don't worry, everything will be just fine," he says.

Her mother, Cinderella, was fitting her dress right.

"Your fathers right just be yourself," she pulled her lace tight.

Lucy winced. "Too tight!" she says barely able to breath.

"Sorry!"

She looked in the mirror. Her parents were on both sides of her.

"Cal's a sweet boy, you will be happy together. Besides, you're going to be queen!" Henry says.

"But nobody's here. Not even Emma," Lucy says.

"They're probably waiting for the after party. Don't stress about that, they can handle," Henry said.

The crowd stands. The dwarfs were there. Jiminy Cricket. Snow White, Prince Charming with their son Neil. Regina and her new husband, Charles. Alice 'Nook', Robin and many others.

Lucy takes a deep breath, hooked arms with her father and started walking down the aisle. Cal couldn't stop blushing, hiding it best he could. She looked beautiful in the fluffy white dress.

"I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Cal leans over and kisses Lucy. After a few seconds she felt a sharp pain in her stomach and falls to the ground. Everybody gasped.

"Lucy!" he yells trying to wake her up. Henry and Cinderella rush over to her daughter. Nook checks her heart.

"We need to get her to the hospital now!"

"I warned you," a voice called. "I told you this would happen."

Alice stood in front of Robin. "Why did you do this?!" she yelled not sure where the voice was coming from.

A sharp needle seemed to poke her. She screamed in pain leaning over. Nook ran to her side.

"If you kill her I will smite you," Nook threatened.

"Not interested. The curse is here! I'm so excited!" the voice had a trickery kids voice. "Everything will happen at once! Wow! This is good stuff."

"Who are you?" Snow asked angerly.

"Oh Mary Margret, wanting to know everything," it taunted.

"It's Snow to you," Charming said.

"And David, the lonely shepherd."

"How do you know all this?" Jiminy Cricket gulped.

"Show your face!" Grumpy yelled.

"If you must know," flying out of the shadows a boy with blond hair in a green leafy outfit flew above. It was Peter Pan. "I'm back!"

It was a nice smooth sail on the Jolly Roger. The sun was setting. The ship turned slightly, perfectly gliding though the sparkling water.

"You are fast a learner!" Killian Jones (Captain Hook) said kissing his daughter, Isabella, on the head as she held the steering wheel tightly.

"Just like your father," Emma (The Savior) said walking over.

"Can you teach me how to navigate with the stars dad?" she asked.

"Of course! First make an L with your hands like this,"

He showed her. She copied.

"It's time to rest," Emma says simply.

"Okay, but promise that you can teach me again tomorrow?"

"Of course, sugarplum," Hook says a little unsure hugging her tighter than usual.

"Good night dad," as Emma guided her to her bed below deck.

"'Night mom.' "

"I love you captain," she said kissing her on the cheek then head.

Bella grinned. She liked being called captain. Soon enough, she fell fast asleep.

It was a rocky morning. Something didn't feel right. Isabella pulled off her blanket and rushed up on the dock. No one was at the wheel. She started to panic having no idea where her parents were. She ran to their room. No one was there.

"Mom! Dad! Where are you!? This isn't funny!"

She waited impatiently and still didn't get a reply.

"Be brave," she murmured to herself. "Be brave." She ran over to the wheel and turned it around. "Where could they be?"

She tried keeping the wheel steady as she quickly ran to her parent's bedroom and looked through their drawers. She pulled out a black pouch and ran back to the upper deck.

"Dad said to use it to get to Lucy's wedding. We definitely missed it," Isabella said pulling out a see-through white bean.

She took a deep breath and through it in the water. Within seconds, a huge portal appeared right in front of the boat. She watched in horror but remembered what her mother had said if she needed to use it, 'Think about where you want to go.'

She closed her eyes. 'Where do I want to go?' she thought to herself but remembered the little town called Storybrooke. 'Maybe I should go there.'

Suddenly, the Jolly Roger started to spin down the hole. She held onto the ropes as the ship hurried its way down and down and down...

"Oh Rumple," Belle said stroking his cheek. "I just knew you'd find a way to be with me."

They were dancing in the light of candles.

"I guess sacrificing myself for someone else proved I was worthy," he said kissing her.

"How's Gideon?" she asked.

"Our son is doing just fine." Rumple opened his mouth but immediately shut it.

"I know what you're going to ask."

"You do?"

"About Neil..."

He stood frozen, shocked. "You saw him?!"

"Well, I know he's somewhere where he's happy."

"He's definitely in heaven, right?"

"Just like us," Belle explains.

He sighs in relief.

"You look relieved, he died a hero you know..." Belle continued.

"I just wanted to make sure," he said continuing to dance. "I'm just so glad I'm with you."

"Papa?" somebody asked in confusion. A figure stood in the dark. A man stepped out. He had brownish hair. He somehow was transported there.

Rumple's eyes widened tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Bae..." he sputtered. He ran over, and they embraced. "I never thought I'd see you again son..."

"How? Your immortal..." asked tightening his grip.

"I'll tell you later."

Belle smiled and cupped her hands. She loved seeing Rumple so happy. She squinted at his hand. It was fading. "Rumple!"

He looked at his hands and jumped back. They were gone.

"Papa, what's happening?" he asked noticing what had happened.

"I don't know." They rest of his body was completely gone.

They watched in horror as he was being swept away.

"Rumple! Papa!" They both cried at the same time. Then everything went black.

Aladdin and Jasmine took their daily flight over the city of Agrabah. It was a calming place ever since they defeated Jafar.

A celebration went on. The fireworks were amazing as the sun started to rise. A dark shadow started to float toward the city.

"Carpet stop," Jasmine said. It stopped.

Aladdin squinted in the distance. There were identical twins on some other type of magic carpet.

"What the..." his voice trailed off.

They each had red haired pigtails, freckles and overalls. They flew over.

"Who are you?!" Jasmine demanded. "What do you want?!"

"Come play with us," they say exactly at the same time. "We can play dollhouse." Every single movement was the same.

Aladdin and Jasmine exchanged worried looks.

They had a palm full of poppy seeds and surprisingly flowed all throughout the city.

"No!" Aladdin yelled.

"You're turn," they said.

They were armed and ready to throw, but the carpet ducked and flew off in the distance.

"You can run, but you can't hide," they say following their trail.

"Bring us down there, carpet," Jasmine instructed pointed to a cottage down below.

It did what it was told. Aladdin opened the door. A man was on the ground. "It's the poppy seeds..."

"Here!" Jasmine said grabbing a bottle.

"What is that?"

"It can take us anywhere we want to go. And I know just the place... Carpet should come too, just in case."

"How do you know it will work?"

"Do you trust me?"

"Yes," he said without hesitation.

With that, she poured the liquid onto everyone and disappeared.

The two pigtailed girls barged in. "This is not over!" they screamed together.

Zelena (The Wicked Witch of the West) was eating lunch in a diner in Boston (where they moved to) with her husband, Chad and their daughter, Greta. Zelena told Chad all about the fairytale characters and curses and showed off a little of her magic. That made him believe.

"We'll make it to wedding if we leave in a few hours," Chad said putting his arm around Zelena and kissed.

Greta nearly choked on her hamburger. "Please! Not in public!"

"Here is your drink ma'am," a waitress said handing a juice to Greta.

"Um, sorry but I didn't order a drink."

"It's fine!"

She placed on the table.

"Ok..."

Greta picked it up, being stared at by the waitress. She took a sip and felt pain vibrate through her body. The waitress grinned and walked away normally pretending nothing happened. Zelena grabs her daughter.

"Are you ok?!"

Everybody in the diner was staring at them now.

"What happened?!" Chad asked.

Greta through her mother's arm to over her. "Don't you dare touch me!" Greta yelled. She started to levitate off the ground. Everyone screamed and ran out.

"Zelena... what did she drink?" Chad gulped.

Greta roared loud as the ground started to shake and she flew out the window into the city.

"S... she's evil, the waitress... I want to get my hands on that son of a..."

A car slammed up against an office building.

"We need to get to Storybrooke now!" Chad said.

"Maybe they can help," Zelena agreed. They held hands and vanished.
