Ok so this is my first ever fanfiction. I know its short but hopefully the later chapters will get longer. =)

'Oh my God' I thought 'Toothless just saved my life' for a split second I'm shocked. I'm too shocked to see anything other than the large black dragon defending me against an even larger red dragon. So I'm just standing there watching what most likely is my best friend protecting me thinking 'he just saved my life' over and over in my head. After that split second of shock has worn off I notice all the Vikings rushing into the ring and realize they will be after Toothless.
"GO!" I try to get him to leave before he gets hurt, or captured. If my dad were to get a hold of him who knows what would happen to my best friend. "Toothless, GO!" It's then I realize that without me he can't fly so I jump in the saddle on his back, lean forward and say two words.
"Let's fly!"
