When Sonny first started on So Random she knew her dreams had come true the people she worked with were ok, then she heard of McKenzie Falls and Chad Dylan Cooper , she thought he was good looking and very arrogant and thought alot of himself .
A few months later Sonny got to know Chad and found even through his arrogance and being so up himself that he was a very kind hearted person. They became very good friends at first. They'd have lunch together and take long walks along the beach. After weeks of all of this they get closer and closer together, until one day Chad asked Sonny if she would go out with him, she had to think about it weighing up the pros and cons .
Having said yes she found it hard telling the Randoms as they didn't think much of Chad or McKenzie but she plucked up the courage and told them, they didn't speak to her for awhile but they finally came round to accepting it .
The relationship between So Random and McKenzie Falls was a bit strained because they always felt that each other was competition but with Chad and Sonny dating it eased a little. They all tried to get along and gathered to talk about their likes, dislikes and hobbies etc.
Chad and Sonny enjoyed so many of the times they spent alone and with the rest of the gang. Until one day out of the blue Sonny's mum told her that they had to move away to another country Spain of all places so she had to leave So Random and Chad. There was so many tears from the gang but mostly Sonny, Chad became very quiet he didn't cry because that wasn't the way he was.
The day came for Sonny to leave she was in her dressing room packing when Chad and the gang burst on and shouted "You can't leave we won't let you, Tawni said her mum said Sonny can come live with us during takes and Sonny and Chad can stay together, Sonny asked her mum who said no at first but finally came round to it and said she'd miss her very much and if things didn't work out she could go and join her, so Sonny thanked her mum and went to join the gang and Chad who put his arms around her and kissed her in front of everyone, then Sonny and Chad walked off to be alone once more.
