Chapter 1
Dean watched the gentle rise and fall of Castiel's chest as he slept. Everything had been peaceful in the last couple of months, Lucifer joining his pack with Dean's, and Michael had even took up Lucifer's offer and joined his pack. He spent a lot of time on his own with his mate but Dean was happy that they weren't a threat and of the times he got to see his half brother. Adam seemed happy with Michael and the threat from Raphael didn't mean much with two other strong alphas at his back and Cas. His Castiel, his mate. Every day was like living for the first time, every kiss, and every touch, everything Cas did meant the world to Dean. He couldn't imagine his life without him, and now they were expecting pups. It was like every piece of his life was sliding into place and he was the happiest he had ever been. He was even getting along with Gabriel, who fit well into the pack now. He was a good beta along with Sam, even though he had a tendency to ignore most of what Dean said if he didn't agree with what he was being told. Not very different than Sam, and he made Sam happy and that meant a lot to Dean to see his brother smile and laugh. Even in difficult times, knowing he could count on Gabriel to look after his brother and after the pack if anything should happen.
He brushed his fingers over the small bump of Cas' stomach, earning a soft sound from his mate and the opening of bright blue orbs. He smiled softly, moving to kiss Cas gently, loving the way he cuddled closer into him.
"How did you sleep love?" He asked softly, pulling back from the kiss. Cas yawned, purring softly.
"Good did you sleep at all, or did you watch me." It was a playful tease and the smile Cas had made Dean laugh softly, rubbing his hand over the baby bump. He could feel the pup stirring underneath his fingertips and Cas squirmed at the feeling as well.
"How is my little one."
"You mean little ones...I am pretty sure there is two in there. And they are good. Very wiggly and active, just like you." Dean chuckles softly, nuzzling Cas' nose before moving to get up slowly. Putting a gentle hand on Cas to keep him laying down.
"You don't have to get up yet. Are you hungry? I'll go get us all breakfast, and bring it up to you." Cas nodded, rolling his eyes at his mate. He was perfectly able to get up and walk but he liked Dean babying him. "Sure."
Dean smiled, making his way downstairs to see who else was up. Sam and Gabe sat in the living room, Sam cuddled into Gabe who was stroking his hair. Lucifer and Michael both sat across from them, with serious expressions on their face. Adam pacing back and forth, within reaching distance of his mate. Adam looked over when Dean walked over. "hey."
"Hey. What's up?"
Sorry it took forever to update, my muse is dead and its still not really there but I'm going to try to do a few chapters this month before nanowrimo starts. I have other stories but I have been writing them down on paper. This was just a short part to go ahead and get it started, so there was something.
