"I loved it when my brothers took me too Marlins games, they bought me candy and hot dogs, and we would have competitions who could cheer the loudest. They always thought it was boring that I used a score card but..."
Shawn and Juliet were walking hand in hand towards AT&T Park, (the San Francisco Giants stadium) and Juliet was on one of her endless rants. She could really go into a lot of detail when she was excited. Shawn loved the fact that he wasn't the only annoying one who liked to talk a lot in their relationship. Juliet had that side to her too.
As his fiancee kept talking about her childhood memories, a warm thought hit Shawn.
"Jules we're gonna do that with our kids right?"
"Do what?"
"Everything you were just talking about, taking our kids to baseball games, hot dogs, screaming contests..."
Juliet smiled. "Of course!"
"Our whole family will be huge Giants fans." Shawn fantasized.
"We'll sign them up for little league..." Jules continued.
"And all the other kids will be jealous because our kids will have their parent's natural baseball skills.
Juliet snorted. "Natural baseball skill? You have never thrown one accurate pitch."
"It's the Yips, Jules!" Shawn protested.
"Well hopefully our kids don't have the Gips."
"The Yips."
"Whatever."
"Fine," Shawn said, "the kids will have your natural baseball skills."
As they kept walking, Shawn imagined going to this game as a family. Just him, Jules, and their two kids: Pineapple and Val-Kilmer Spencer. Juliet might need some convincing on the names though.
