Yugi came home one day from working. It was later than usual, since there was a big sale going on at the game shop, and Solomon wasn't there to help. He had a bad back and couldn't move, and he's over at his and Tea's place, sleeping.
"I'm home~" but there was silence as a response. He looked around the house, and he doesn't see anyone at home. He walked back to the front door, seeing if there's a note. And yet there was one, but not the kind he was expecting. On a piece of paper it says, "There is great news waiting to see you. Follow the clues and you'll find it in front of you".
He looked around, and he sees another note. 'Not funny guys' he thought to himself. He decided to do this 'game'. He picked up another piece of paper. He read it and followed the directions for each note. It lasted about ten minutes, going from the doorway to the attic, and then behind the television at the living room. He couldn't see the purpose of this scavenger hunt. They were all to easy. He then finds a note on the fan, "Where we feed our needs and satisfactions there shall be the finale where there be a double meaning"
Kitchen. Of course. He then came over the kitchen. He sees a picture of an arrow on the bowl of peaches, and looks at the direction. The oven. He opens the oven door where it shows a hamburger. It's not cooked that's what he notices. According the previous note it has a double meaning. Put the two together… He might be over thinking this.
He didn't notice however that Tea is leaning against the wall, behind him at the edge between the kitchen and the living room. There was also Joey and Mai next to her. And in just a minute he notices them, a bit of confusion written in his face. Tea raises an eyebrow, bit disappointed he hasn't figured it out yet. Mai in the same boat. Yugi just look at each and everyone of them.
"I don't get it. You did this weird scavenger hunt, if that's the case, and it leads me to a hamburger bun in the- wait!"
He finally got it. Tea silently giggled to his expression. And Yugi's mouth widened from an O shape to a huge smile and turns to Tea, everyone else knowing he figured out this clue.
"I'm gonna be a father!?" Yugi was about to jump out of his shoes. Tea's nod made him smile even more. He ran up to her and picked her up in a hug, spinning around doing so.
"This is so great!"
"Not bad for a scavenger hunt, isn't it?" Tea smiled along with him. He looked at the others. Joey was just surprised as Yugi. Tea and Mai were the only ones to know this. Solomon was out for the day and didn't know either. Tea thought it would be best if she has Yugi to know this first.
"Can't wait till I tell Grandpa!"
