I have severe writer's block right now for my other stories, so I randomly did this. I wrote something similar to this a LONG time ago in 7th grade for my friend.
Basically: Link finds out that Sheik is a girl. A certain princess at that...

Link was exhausted from fighting baddies in various temples. He needed a break! He straddled Epona and she trotted on over to Lake Hylia.
As Epona was slurping the fresh water, Link splashed the cool liquid on his face. He thought he heard a snap of a twig, but initially ignored it. But he didn't ignore the humming and the gentle splashing of someone bathing.
Navi flitted to his side, and Link placed his index finger to his lips. Navi bobbed in the air, indicating she understood and slowly flew next to him. Link crawled on the ground and peered through the cattails. There he saw a beautiful creature. Her back was turned to him, but her radiant blonde hair flowed with the slight breeze and beamed in the moonlight. Despite the darkness, Link could tell from the full moon's light that her skin was of medium tone and unblemished.
His gaze wandered over her and he stopped himself when Navi rammed into his head. "Link," she stage whispered. "That's disgusting!" Link shook himself and was about to leave when his eyes caught the moon light and followed the moonbeams to the girl's clothes. Though they were crumpled, he could identify the blue jumpsuit, the grey wraps, and the large red eye that adorned the front and seemed to pierce its gaze into one's core.
Holy Farore! Link was astounded. That's Sheik!!!
Link knew, or rather thought, that Sheik was male. But this person was obviously a girl. How…?
At that moment, she turned around. It was Princess Zelda. She stopped dead in her tracks.
"In the names of the goddesses, Link! What are you doing here?!" Zelda shrieked. She futilely tried to cover herself up with her bare hands.
"I don't know about him, but what are you doing with Sheik's clothes?!" Navi squeaked. "Are you two secret lovers or something?" Link blushed at that.
It's too late now, they've seen me. "No… I… I am Sheik." Zelda said calmly.
Link could only stare as Zelda quickly slipped on her clothes and proved to them that she was in fact their helper on their quest.
Link couldn't possibly love her more. He ran up to her and pinned her in his arms in a tight hug and planted his lips to her cheek. For the first time ever, Zelda actually heard Link speak.
"The girl I love is not only a princess, but an ass kicking one at that!" Zelda blushed at the compliment, and she and Link shared a true love's kiss.
