This is so random I'm not quite sure exactly where this came from. I just love Doro, he's so totally my comic-relief puppy dog! -snuggles-
The battle was intense. Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist, vs. the chimeras of Laboratory 5. Martel, Roa, and Dorchette were the strongest of the lot, and therefore they were the ones fighting. After Martel had apprehended Alphonse, Fullmetal's younger brother, Roa and Dorchette had sprung into action.
While Roa used his super strength, whipping his hammer around, just barely missing the young alchemist, Dorchette was shooting everywhere, sword held out in front of him. His last swipe had made a hit, but it only just skimmed Fullmetal.
Blonde braid whipping around, Fullmetal clapped his hands and pressed them into the hard concrete. A column of rock sprouted from the spot where Fullmetal's hands had touched, and they wrapped around Roa, stopping his movement considerably.
Dorchette swore under his breath. A second later, Fullmetal had disappeared.
The dog chimera stopped, confused. "Now where the hell did you get to..." he muttered, looking around.
"Al told me you were fused with a dog, right?" A voice, right in his ear, made his hair stand on end. He started to turn around, but it was too late. Fullmetal clapped his hands again, an evil look in his eyes.
And pressed his hands against Dorchette's lower back (-ahem-).
Dorchette flew a good fifteen feet into the air, yowling the way a dog does when you step on its tail.
When he landed (which hurt. A lot.), he looked at the spot where Fullmetal had transmuted.
And saw a fluffy brownish-blonde dogtail sprouting from under his kimono.
Everyone stared at it for a full thirty seconds, then burst out laughing. Except for Dorchette, who was staring at it in horror.
A tail. That damned alchemist had given him a tail.
A tail.
A tail. As in, a fluffy, cute little part of an animal that wags whenever its happy.
Whatever dignity Dorchette had left after his loosing streak was now gone completely.
Told you. Completely pointless.
By the way, this takes place during the manga, not the anime. Poor Doro, he was so much more lovable in the manga! He was usually used purely for comic relief. I hated it when he died! -kicks wall-
