Saber-toothed cats did not purr. That was the long and short of it.
Kilala knew where her pride stood. She ripped, shredded, and crunched any wicked demon alongside her human, Sango.
Sango understood the little kitten guise for what it was. Sango was the only human who had truly understood her in the past two centuries. She knew that the noise resonating from Kilala's throat was nowhere near purring.
It was growling friendly-like.
