I do not own Wolverine and the X-men: The Animated Series.
A/N: If you do not already know:
Logan is Wolverine
Hank is Beast
Kitty is Shadowcat
Bobby is Iceman
Scott is Cyclops
Ororo is Storm
It all began one fateful rainy day. It was almost as black as night.
Kitty and Bobby were trying to help Hank organize the library again. Scott was sulking in his room over Jean as usual (and the weather set the perfect atmosphere for it). Ororo was enjoying the weather on the front lawn.
Logan was walking down the hall when he suddenly tripped on something.
Shaking it off he turned to look at the object.
A tube of lipstick, frost blue.
There was only one person who could of dropped it. She might as well get his regards while he returned it.
He walked down to Emma Frost's room and knocked loudly.
Emma appeared in the door.
"Yes," she said, calmly.
"I believe you dropped this," Logan said, angrily. "It tripped me up and--"
"Oh, Logan, do you only speak in snarls?"
Logan replied with a usual snarl.
"Listen, Frost," he said, gruffly. "Just take the lipstick."
During his growling Logan didn't notice the wind picking up. A rock flew and crashed through the window triggering the lock-down sequence. The lights flashed red and steel barriers flew up.
He knew that since Emma was standing in the doorway she'd be crushed.
"Look out!" he shouted as he jumped and pushed her through the door just in time.
But now, they were stuck alone until Hank disabled the lock-down.
Logan pulled himself off of Emma, unfazed.
Emma, on the other hand, was as red as wine.
"Just great," Logan groaned.
He cursed.
Emma got up slowly looking at Logan who was fuming.
"Please don't break anything," Emma said, calmly, though her heart was racing.
"Frost!" Logan started, but then looked at Emma's comely face. "Be quiet. Let me think."
He sat down and began thinking.
Emma sat down as well waiting for Logan to say something.
Suddenly he chuckled.
"What?" Emma asked.
"It's impossible," he said.
"What do you mean?"
"The security is way too much of a task to try to get through. We should just wait 'til Hank turns it off."
"So we're stuck?"
"No, it's just not worth the effort."
"Hmm."
They sat in silence for a small while.
"Well," Emma said, breaking the silence. "It's getting cold in here."
Logan calmly walked over draping a nearby blanket over her shoulders.
"Thank you," Emma said, quietly. "Logan."
"I'm not one to let a woman freeze," he replied. "Even if they can't be trusted."
"I'd like it if...you'd trust me more."
"Interesting, Emma."
"What?"
"What do you mean, 'what?'"
"What did you call me?"
"Emma, why? Isn't that your name."
Logan moved closer to her.
"I think you deserve to sometimes be called by your first name.
Their eyes locked now.
"Well, I suppo--"
Logan kissed her now, in a deep lip-lock, his arms around her.
Suddenly, the system lockdown shut off and the steel blockage raised.
Logan released her.
"I suppose..." he said. "I should go help Hank fix the window."
He headed to the door but stopped.
"See you at dinner...Emma" he said.
Then he left, leaving a stunned but happy Emma in her room.
A/N: I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for reading.
