Sorry to use this platform but looking for a fic wherein Lizzy and Jane are not Bennets. They grow up separately. The fic starts with Lizzy as a governess/companion to Georgiana's friend. Her birthmark on her wrist is seen by Darcy, I think, and reconnects her to her real family. Jane is a curate's daughter so the two sisters didn't grow up together. Their mother is part of the peerage and her daughters were taken from her as revenge by someone who wanted to marry her. The fic ends with the mother being shot and dying.
