Airina

"Twang". The arrow hit dead on. The sound of crushing bone shattered the silence in the forest. The deer dropped dead and lay crumpled beside an oak tree that looked to be about 1000 yeas of age. Satisfied, Eragon went to gather his kill. This deer was a buck and a big one too. Eragon, his uncle Garrow, his cousin Roran, and his eleven wife, Jasmine would be eating a mighty feast tonight.

After the feast was over Eragon lay on his hay bed. He heard the door creak open as he saw Jasmine enter the room. In one swift movement she was sitting on the end of Eragon's bed. He rolled over to look at her. "Jasmine, I wish that my life were more exciting" he breathed. She slowly moved in to kiss him. They lay there embraced in silence. Eragon's tongue quickly entered her mouth but it snapped out as Jasmine got up. "Eragon what are you doing?" Oops, bad move. "You know I'm not ready to make that step yet! We've went through this already!" "Yes I know and I truly am sorry." "Well it's too late now. I have already made up my mind! If you don't want to give any respect towards my feelings, then we're through!" She yelled and stomped out the room. Eragon let out a quiet sob.

Meanwhile…

Murtagh was hunting when in a flash of light a blue stone appeared in front of him. But Murtagh did not mistake it for a rock because he knew exactly what it was. A dragon egg.

"At long last I have finally stumbled upon a dragon egg! And I know exactly what to name it" He said with a grin. "Airina."
