A/N: So, this might be a bit weird but I really wanted to read a time travel fic in which Robin gets sent back in time. Honestly, I tried to find one and just couldn't so I decided to write one. Kinda. The problem is I really don't have the time or inspiration to write this fic, so if anyone wants to take this idea and run with it, I'm cool with it and encourage it. So, this is a challenge/prompt? Idk. Well, if you like it or want to continue on what I've written, feel free to review or PM me. Enjoy~!

~Lizard-senpai

She woke up with a start, her breathing coming in short pants and sweat streaming down her brow. Pain… blood… magma… her captain… Luffy… Luffy! She has to save Luffy! It's up to her and… and…

It's just her, in a room that is wooden planks and black curtains shutting out any light from its small window. They aren't at sea, Raftel in their sights and their dead or dying Nakama around them with her captain fighting with all his might to protect his last two crewmates even though it should be them fighting for him.

It's just her, and she'd be so willing to pass it all off as a nightmare. But she's not in her room on the Sunny. Hell, she isn't even on the Merry. She's in a room she lived in when she was eighteen and working for a nameless, faceless pirate crew, fuzzy in her memories.

She started to laugh softly, placing a hand to her forehead as her shoulders start to shake. Tears crawled down her faced, the weight of the world crushing her shoulders even though her body felt weightless. For a while, she stayed like this, laughing and crying, until a concerned crewmember knocked on her door with a call of, "Miss Robin, everything alright?"

She sent him an affirmative with a giddy giggle that probably frightened him more than put him to rest, but she couldn't care. Either everything, a whole thirteen years of life, had been some tortuous construct of her imagination or she had truly been sent back in time.

And Robin wanted, no needed, to believe the latter option.
