It had started out as an experiment of Kagome's. Now it was a big joke at InuYasha's expense. Every time Kagome says sit the blasted necklace around InuYasha's neck makes him sit with almost earthquake force. One day, after watching Kagome make the rebellious and hot tempered half-demon sit on a bridge(thus causing the bridge to collapse and dump him in the river) the young kitsune, Shippo, said, "I wish we could do that. It would help us keep Inuyasha inline when Kagome isn't here." Kagome heard this and decided to try an experiment. She recorded her voice saying "sit" several times onto an audiotape in the same commanding voice she always used on Inuyasha. She then played the tape in front of Inuyasha and was rewarded by his rump slamming thunderously to the ground.
"What did you do that for!" he exclaimed in annoyance.
"Oh, just testing a theory," Kagome replied as she walked over to Miroku and showed him how to use the tape player. Miroku then proceeded to try it himself with the same thunderous results. Apparently all Inuyasha needed was to hear Kagome's voice for the spell to work. Now Shippo had the tape player and was using it relentlessly. It had been amusing for a minute but that had been a half hour ago and now everyone else was trying to take it from him.
"If I ever get my hands on that thing," Inuyasha snarledas his butt was forced to make an even deeper hole in the ground. He was becoming angrier by the minute and not being able to rub his very sore bottom wasn't helping, "I am going to shove it down Shippo's throat!"
