A/N: I wanted to write something different, so I picked this. I hope you like it. Just so you know, The First Legacy will be late and there is nothing I can do about it. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience and I appreciate everyone of you who put my story in favorites. You don't know how much that means to me, to finally have people who appreciate my work, especially Kinkatia. If it weren't for her, I doubt my writing career would ever have gotten this far.
The memory, the pain,
The horror won't refrain,
My body throbbing still,
The pain I could not kill.
So used to being alone,
Till you, I had become.
You pulled me free in time,
'Fore to darkness I succumbed.
All I knew destroyed, in the
Simple act of greed,
And I can't avoid,
Myself I could not free.
My shattered wings lay broken,
At my feet and left to die,
In the loss, unforgiven,
You heard my silent cry.
You told me, today,
In words I could not hear,
You would always be,
Right beside me here.
My shattered wings repaired,
Upon my back stand proud,
Given me by you,
I soar above the clouds.
