Authors Note I used this for Harry Potter but it fit more accuratley in my opinon for Edward. It's short and it's sweet and I supppose it's my first TWILIGHT fic. But right now I am started on a couple others. So please if there is anyone who would like to be a beta, holla.
I own none of this. Well okay the words are mine, but the characters and stuff, totally stolen.
The Funny Things We Do For Love
By Edward Cullen
Love's delusion makes it appear as an obtainable item. Everybody is destined for it, so naturally everybody wants in on it. But love in times like these is as rare as an honest person. There is a reason for this, it takes an honest pair to love: even if love is what made them honest to begin with.
A dishonest person goes around and throws out words like love to try to secure a feeling that doesn't exist at the time. They use the word with no regard to its full meaning. Dishonesty is an unstable foundation and doesn't stand a chance in the long run.
So how can you place the feeling of love, or believe ones 'confessions' for real? You know when you love someone, but there is always a consequential moment when it all comes together. It isn't like a hammer that mentally hits you labeled 'love'. It is more like a clearing of the fog. Something you feel in your gut will change your life forever; that things will be different from then on. It has a time of its own. The moment's clarity comes to you, where the pieces fit, are just everyday moments that leave an impact.
Love is such a powerful emotion that is always comes out on top. It's like a battlefield during a war, so many places to pass, so many places to trip. It never stops with its ups and downs. All you hear is the good side, because anybody truly in love can tell you despite its trials it can make you the happiest person alive. You haven't lived until you have loved.
Tragedies are well renowned because it proves something out there is stronger then death, and sometimes people would die because of an emotion, a raw emotion in your soul.
But what is worse then dying for love is taking the path that will hurt them for their own safety. Sometimes people have to walk away, leaving themselves and the other in pain, to save that other from what they think is a worse fate. Ironic isn't it? People die mortally for love within themselves, yet people walk away from the love within themselves to save someone mortally. Love does funny things with a person.
