The Mountains
(there characters don't belong to me unless you haven't heard of them before J)
Maggie had always enjoyed walking. She enjoyed the fresh air that she breathed in, it made her feel better. Maggie slowly walked along the edge of the mountain. It was beautiful. It was mid-autumn so the golden-brown leaves were
falling off the trees and floating down gracefully to the ground. Maggie had decided to go for one of her long walks because it was really warm for autumn. The sun was high in the sky.
Maggie smiled when a leaf fell on the top of her head. After brushing it off, she looked up. The sun light shone through the gaps that the fallen leaves had left in the trees. The sun felt good on her skin. Maggie lowered her head and carried on walking. She knew her soulmate was coming back from his mission today but she had been told that it would be sometime tonight.
Maggie walked slowly, taking in the view around her. It was true beauty around the mountains. There was so mach peace around there. Suddenly two arms wound around her waist. Maggie didn't scream. All she didn't was slowly turn around and look up. Delos smiled down at her. "Hello," he said before leaning down and kissing her gently. Maggie kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his neck. Delos lifted his head, smiling down at her. "Hey, I've missed you," Maggie replied. Delos smiled and held her close. He knew he would find her up in the mountains, it was one of the places his soulmate loved which meant he loved it too.
