Sam
The words that Vally had said a few minutes ago rang in Sam's head: Leo will defeat the Shredder…but he will die in the process. Sam felt her throat tightening and she knew tears were imminent; she had lost her father to the Shredder, but now her older brother? Sam felt her breaths and body trembling as the thoughts of Leonardo dying surrounded her. She didn't even sense Leo coming behind her and place a hand on her trembling shoulder. "Sam?"
Leo
Leo had raced after Sam when she left after Vally told them about her vision of his death while fighting the Shredder; it scared Leo now, but after seeing Sam's face, the pain and fear in her eyes; he needed to comfort his younger sister and let her know how he felt. Leo gently placed his hand on her shoulder and he could feel her trembling underneath his touch. "Sam?" Leo could hear the sound of trembling breaths from Sam before the words that almost shattered his very soul: "Leo, I'm scared." Leo pulled Sam in a comforting embrace and held her close. "I know…I-I am too" he managed to pull from his silence.
Sam
Sam felt Leo's strong arms pull her close to his plastron. Sam felt the tears fall and she stood there crying and wrapped her arms tight around Leo. "I lost someone I loved to the Shredder, I don't want to lose you too" she sobbed against his chest. Leo stood there holding Sam close; he was pretty close to crying himself, but he needed to be strong for Sam. So Leo stood there holding Sam close and let her cry.
