Laura laid down in her closed, private tent. She covered up with the few blanket she was given and closed her eyes. She was cold to the bone. Being wet from the constant rain didn't help.

Her body shivered and her teeth chattered violently. She wrapped her arms around herself tighter to try and help with the trembling.

Laura was about to give up when someone opened her tent. She set up to see who it was but all she could see was a shadow of something or someone.

"Whho'ss therre?" Laura asked. She tried to keep her voice from shaking but was unsuccessful.

"Sshh." Bill whispered. "It's me."

"Commander Adama?" Laura sighed in relief. "What are you doing in my tent?"

"I could hear your teeth chattering all the way in my tent." Bill whispered covering her with the blankets. "So I brought you my blankets."

"I can't take your blankets." Laura shook her head. "You'll freeze."

"I'm sharing." Bill lifted the covered and slid inside. He pulled her to lay down beside him. He tucked her into his arm with her head against his chest. "Go to sleep."

"Thank you, Commander." Laura wrapped an arm around his middle.

"You're welcome Madam President." Bill kissed the top of her head. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight." Laura smiled and closed her eyes. Never in her whole life had she ever felt as safe and warm as she did in this moment.
