Sunshine
Sarah's POV
You are my sunshine
Jesse's icy blue eyes bore into my black ones as he held Ethan in his arms. If this weren't such a deadly situation, I would've made a comment about his sexuality.
My only sunshine
Ethan's eyes were wide with fear, and I could hear his heart pounding. Dammit Jesse, no! You can't take hi- Jesse's teeth locked down on Ethan's arm.
You make me happy
Ethan started writhing on the ground in pain, and I felt my eyes well up with tears as Benny came up behind me.
"Either you become one of us, or he does. See you soon!" Jesse mocked, as he zoomed away.
When skies are gray
I began moving toward Ethan without thought, already knowing what I would have to do.
"No Sarah," Ethan moaned, scrunching his eyes closed. I grabbed his arm, and brought it to my lips. I bit into him.
You'll never know dear
"What's she doing?" Benny exclaimed.
"Saving him." I sucked the vampiric poison out of him, and of course, while I drank from him, our thoughts were connected.
The hell are you doing Sarah? Stop!

Sorry Ethan. I'd rather it be me than you.
When I pulled back, our eyes met. His were filled with an emotion I knew well.

~Sarah's Memories/Flashbacks/Thingys~
Ethan's fingers gently probing my neck, then the gasp I knew. He'd just received a vision. I didn't ask about it, because his face was completely freaked out.
I decided it was high time for me to get going.
"Sarah, wait!" I turned expectantly, hoping he might be asking me to the dance.
Instead, he just said, "Never mind. See you at the dance tomorrow?"
"Yeah."

Watching him be dragged away by Jesse while I had to deal with Erica irked me. I should be helping him!
Of course, I beat her, after a few head knocks.
And then tragedy struck.
A familiar nursery rhyme had starting humming through my mind, and I wondered how Ethan hadn't noticed it when I drank from him.

I stood outside his house, alone. I looked up at his window once more, and then sang it to myself once more.

Mwahahaha… Yeah, I know, sappy ending. But hey, I love that little ditty, and it fit well. Sorry if some of the things are a bit off, but I figured watching the guy she (Most likely) likes being bitten by a vampire probably made Sarah's thoughts a bit hectic, don't you think? Hehe… Well, I might be doing an Ethan version of this… And in case you're wondering… Here's a deleted scene from this that will explain why this rhyme came into Sarah's mind.
Ethan stepped out of… Whatever it was, confident beyond belief. It made my heart flutter slightly. The horrible lighting still made him shine like the sun.
