[The usual disclaimer: I own neither Harry Potter nor Pirates of the Caribbean]
They had just apparated.
Landing on sand, it was not at all what they expected. Harry stood up and ran over to Ron and Hermione who were together on the beach.
"Hermione, you're alright! We're safe, we're all safe." Harry spoked relievedly. A small voice could be heard from behind. "Harry Potter."
Harry turned to see Dobby, who was grasping his stomach. He ran over when he saw the little elf begin to sway, catching him just before he fell.
"Dobby had to protect Harry Potter. Harry Potter couldn't be there any longer." Harry was confused, yet determined to keep his friend alive. So much going through his head all at once, it was all too much to process.
"What a beautiful place to be, with Harry Potter, and his friends." Harry's eyes became teary with reality setting in, finally realizing that Dobby most likely wouldn't be able to pull through.
Harry pulled Bellatrix's dagger out of Dobby's wound, even though it wouldn't help much. "Hermione, Hermione help me, please! Your bag!" He pleaded. She shook her head even though she desperately wanted to help. But she couldn't. All of her things were back at the Manor.
Harry looked back down at Dobby, seeing the life leave his eyes, becoming only a distant stare. He was gone.
Luna came and sat beside Harry, leaning over and shutting Dobby's eyes. "See? Now he could be sleeping." she tried to comfort him, but it didn't help the situation much.
Ron began to glance around and take in their current surroundings. They appeared to be on an island or beach of some sort. He turned his head to see palm trees and mountains behind him. Further down the beach, he spotted a large black ship with black sails. It seemed to be almost beached, as one would say.
"Where the bloody 'ell are we?" Ron asked as they all looked around, thinking the same question.
