I DO NOT OWN MR!
MAX POV
I was standing at the entrance of New Mexico Military School in my black tank top and my red training shorts. If you think I wanted to be here, well, you're partially right. But part of me didn't want to be here because I was rebellious. My mother thought that instead of fighting at a public school I should put my strengths to good use and go to military school. That really meant, "I am sick of you beating people up and none of the PDA moms liking me so I am sending you away." I mean I was pretty strong for a girl who was 17 and 5'7 and only weighed 115. But I also had a really small temper. A lot of the guys in Arizona are pigs and I beat them up when they were insulting. The teachers and my mom didn't find it appropriate so here I am.
I took a deep breath and the first step I took was a mistake. A guy in his uniform rammed into me and knocked me down and I hit my head when he landed on top of me.
"Get off me!" I said and pushed him off by his chest. He just looked at me.
"You're the new girl Max right? I was supposed to show you around and take you to the commodore's office. But you probably don't want me too," he said sadly. Not wanting to hurt his feelings and partially thinking he's cute, Max, don't say that! He just rammed into you for god's sake! I said, "You can still show me around." He looks surprised but soon smiled. He showed me the mess hall (Cafeteria), the training area, the basketball court (I would have fun there), and now he was showing me the dorm rooms. We were walking down the hall when a red head walked up to us and gave me a disgusted face. "Who's she?" The annoying bimbo retorted.
"Lissa, this is Max," Fang said wearily and I knew this girl was gonna give me heck.
"You stay away from my Fangy got it?"
"No, I don't 'have it'. I don't have to listen to a word you say and Fang is showing me around campus," I said starting to get angry and as you know, you don't want to get me angry.
"Guess what tramp, Fang is my boyfriend and I will not let a freak like you just waltz in and take him away from me," she said with a valley girl accent. Why was this chick in military school? Before I could say anything, Fang steps up and says, "If anybody is a tramp around here, it's you. You don't even belong in military school. Max isn't a freak and she doesn't have to try and take me away from you because I'm not your boyfriend," he said and you won't believe what he did next. He kissed me! When we came up, Lissa's face was bright red with anger. But all she did was stomp away defeated. But I knew that this wouldn't be the last of Lissa. We walked off to Fang's room to introduce me to his friends. Oh goodie. Please don't let them be sexist pigs. Apparently good manners didnd't matter because when we walked in, a tall strawberry blond kid stared me down and I was about ready to slap his face when he said, "Dude, where'd you get the hot girl?" "I have a name and it's Max. And if you talk like a sexist pig one more time, I will punch your face in," bitterness seething through my voice.
