The Doctor in his long coat, blue suit and red converse, walked over to the bench and pulled a letter out from his pocket, and slowly opened it, knowing what would lie in store for him, another goodbye from one of his companions, but this goodbye was a permanent goodbye. Reluctantly he took the paper that had been folded into thirds out and unfolded it. He recognized the writing, one of his best friends, Sarah, oh how he missed her, but his time was up with her now; what was he thinking, he had a time machine he could go back and visit her anytime, wait no he can't she wouldn't like it very much. He knew it wouldn't be right.
My Dear Doctor,
When I left you for someone I loved, I had never thought I would have had any children, or a small family, in the end there were three of us, and we were happy. My husband and I moved to America where he got a job for the Army, and that's where my child was born, we were both happy, and for quite some while everything seemed perfect.
One day my husband got deployed, and three months later we had police at the door telling us that he would never come home and after that I was diagnosed with cancer, stage four, and it saddened me that I would never be able to see my beautiful girl grow up to be the young woman she was meant to be.
So Doctor, when she is old enough to know who she is, go to her and take her on adventures. I wrote book for her, everything involving my life, since I could remember pictures, papers etc... Tell her I love her.
Thank you,
Sarah
That was the begging of a new adventure for him.
