Prologue
Natsu's POV
Sup people, my names Natsu Dragneel.
I'm the most popular guy in school. I suck at grades, but I'm an amazing fighter. I go to the elite school Fairy Academy. I know what you're thinking. How am I in an 'elite' school? Well I'm a famous fighter, so no matter what they can't kick me out.
The academy is right next to the Atlantic ocean and our dorms are close to the beach so we get to swim a lot. I even have a fan club. How cool am I. Oh, I'm also a bad boy who always ditches school, gets into trouble, and talks back to my teachers and principle.
That's right! I'm awesome!
I'm right now hanging with my gang as usual at the infamous Fairy Tail club (Part of Fairy Academy). Them being Gray, Erza, Levy, Loki, Gajeel, Mirajane, Lisanna, Juvia, Jellal, Cana and my little sister Wendy.
"So Natsu, are you coming to Cana's party?" Gray asks as he rests his head on the table out of tiredness from soccer practice. The ice-prick is the star player.
I grinned. Me? Miss a party? As if! "Of course! I'm so excited!"
"Remember it's on her ship" He reminds as a mischievous smirk forms on his lips
"I know that!" I lie. Crap... Why did Cana have to chose a boat out of all things?! A BOAT!
He rolls his eyes and gives me a taunting tone, "you remembered? That's a first."
I twitch my eye and let out a growl, "what do you mean by that Ice freak!?"
"I mean you don't think at all ash-for-brains!" he hisses.
"Enough! This is no time for nonsense!" Erza commands as she continues on her paper work for the student council.
"Y-Yes mam" "Aye" We hug each other in fear of the scarlet-haired women's wrath.
"Gray, clothes," Cana warns with a long grin from pure amusement.
"M-My eyes!" Levy and Wendy screeches in unison as they cover their faces' with their hands and try to erase what they seen from their brains.
Gajeel and I wasn't happy hearing them scream.
"Put on some clothes" Gajeel yells and tackles the raven-haired idiot with clothe in this hands.
As the metal-head tries to dress the dumb-ass, I comfort my sister, "yea! You're gonna scare Wendy for life... Again!" I scream.
"Oh my..." Mirajane giggles as she finally finishes her last delivery of food to table four.
Mirajane and her sister helps out at the club since they are close to the principle.
"Don't yell at Gray-sama" a certain obsessive swimmer hisses and jumps onto Gajeel to help her 'beloved' Gray out.
Lisanna sighs and sweat-drops, "so you're coming to the party, right Jellal?" She starts a conversation to distract her from all the screaming in the background made by Gajeel, Juvia, and Gray. Erza later joins from finally having enough and grabs her sword from nowhere with fire in her eyes.
"Yea," Jellal says nonchalantly like always. He rests his head on his hand as he looks up in space, thinking of who knows what.
...He hasn't been the same since... the incident.
Loki gleams the conversation by joining in, "I can't wait to see the beautiful women there" he speaks with confidence and no hint of shame.
Lucy's POV
I finally manag to escape my duty's of the Atlantic princess again and manage to swim freely...
...This is how it always goes.
Hi. My names Lucy, I'm the princess of the Atlantic ocean. And yes,I am a mermaid.
Let me tell you about my situation right now. My mother and sister Michelle died several years ago. The only people left from the royal family is my father and I. My father is a cold person who doesn't even care about me. Today is my 18th birthday, that mean my pearl is finally ready to shine.
I'll explain about my pearl. You know how you see on TV that if a mermaid goes on land they can get legs. Well that's partly right. Only mermaids with the pearls can have the ability to have legs, and mermaids with pearls have to be the royal family. So in other words, my father and I can only get up there. If I get on land, the pearl glows to show that it is working and turns my tail into legs.
I have a shining pink tail and long blonde hair. People say I'm the most beautiful mermaid there is, but I don't believe it. I don't have any true friends (besides my servants whom I love dearly) and if I did they would probably pretend just for my ranking.
I decided today I was going to run away and start a new life as a human. That is what I always wanted.
To be a normal human and live freely.
I was going to do it! I was really going to!
As I swim up the surface like my life depends on it, I see more of the shining reflection of water from the beautiful radiance of the moon. I am at the surface of the water. I take in a deep breath of sweet air. It is night-time! My favorite time of the day! Oh how beautiful the stars are!
"Ahhhhh~" I warm up my voice. The singing part of the mermaids are true. We love to sing!
HHOOOONNNNKKKKK A ship roars. Oh a party ship how nice~
I adjust my eyes to see a large thing fall right off the top of the large boat.
A male human just fell out~

Wait! What!?
I swim to the idiot as fast as I can. Luckily for him, I manage to make it on time. Another great thing is that he is unconscious, I'm safe from being discovered. With all my might, I bring him back onto the beach.
My pearl starts to glow pink, and my tail transforms into the legs I desired for so long. I want to squeal for finally getting legs, but I hold it in and focus on the idiot.
He seems as if he swallowed too much water... He might die if he is in his current condition still... The only way to save him is...
No! I can't give him CPR! I haven't even gotten my first kiss yet!
The idiot lays there coughing... Guilt overwhelms my body, my brows separate to form an upset face... He is so lucky he is cute! I gently push my lips against his as I began to breath air into him. The idiot began to cough even more and then slowly regains consciousness. After he manages to barely stand up, I run into the water where my precious legs turn to a tail. I swim as fast as I can without him seeing me.
I just have one question that is killing me... Why does he have pink hair?!
Natsu's POV
I am such an idiot... Why is my pride too big!? I feel like I am dying on Cana's ship! WHY?! And where is Wendy when I need her the most?! She is the only one who can help me out in times like this. I let out a painful moan as my hands are on the railings of the ship to help support me.
"Are you okay Natsu?" Lisanna asks as she rubs my back. I was hanging at the edge of the ship now. I think I threw up my dinner a few minutes ago. My cheeks grow as I try to hold up anything else I have left.
I'm about to throw up... AGAIN! "No, I need to get on land..."
"Sorry Natsu the ship doesn't get back on land until a couple more hours" Lisanna nervously laughs as she pats my back as in a way of saying 'good luck'.
"Wendy! Where the hell are you!?" I yell as loud as I can. Right after, I hug my stomach. This is going to be the end of me!
Gray notices and starts mocking me. "Ha! You deserve that flame-brain!" the bastard points at me with small chuckles.
"Gray don't be so mean!" Lisanna scolds with no harshness intended.
I ignore what she says and try to lift myself you to challege Gray, "Y-You w-wanna g-go underwear man?"
"Really, just look at you. You're pathetic right now. Right Gajeel?" Gray asks the metal lover while turning his head towards his direction to see the current condition Gajeel is in.
"Ugghhh" Gajeel manages to growl out. He is completely on the ground.
"What am I gonna do with you?" Levy asks herself as she rubs Gajeel on the back to comfort him.
As I finally see where Wendy went to, the ship starts to shake by the strong waves of the ocean...
You have got to be kidding me!
Gray is pushed my the wobbles made by the waves and knocks into Lisanna, and then Lisanna accidentally pushes me overboard...

"FUCK!" I scream as I hit the ocean... Looks like this really IS the end of Natsu Drageel
The last things I saw and heard were my friends screaming my name...
I knew I was gonna die. The ship is so far away from mainland, so it was impossible for me to wash up to the shore...
I became unconscious as I let the cold water take me away.

I feel a pair of cold, soft lips touching mine. It feels really good, but I couldn't open my eyes and barely mange myself to breath... Could it be I was choking from water and now someone's giving me CPR?!
After the kiss, I finally let in a deep breath in after the coughs I hack out.
I really hope it is a female giving me that kiss, it is my first one after all(Unbelievable right?).
My eyes flutter thousands of times before I conjure up enough energy to opened up my eyes and try to get myself up. As my eyes adjust to the darkness of the night, I roughly see beautiful blonde locks covering my saviors face as she gets into water and appears what looks like a pink tail...
Nothing out of the ordinary...

A PINK TAIL?!
I am speechless to what I just saw! I slowly process it all into my head. Fall, suppose to die, wakes, gets kissed by a mermaid... WHAT?!
I know I am blushing hard by the extreme hotness I feel from my face... Whoever that was, I was going to meet her again... Is this what you call love at first sight...?
I will find her...
That is a promise.
