A/N: Originally, I was inspired to write this after watching the episode of Batman Beyond with Mr.Freeze. But then after I thought about it, I realized that the idea didn't just depict Mr. Freeze, but also Darth Vader/Anakin… So I guess it can go either way.

From years of pain
It aches worse every day
Always there, like a stain
Why hadn't I died
When it was time?
Why couldn't it end
When I heard the chime?
I sit in this white room
Wishing for no tomorrow
One day I was offered
A new path to follow
I said yes
Yes, I accept that gift
Yes, I will see another day
Yes, I want to live
My heart felt healed
I went through joys
But my fate was sealed
After the peak
I fell back to rock bottom
I must make a decision
Its gravity I cannot fathom
My choice…
In the end…
I heard the voice…
And I let go…
At last, the game is over
At last, I can sleep
At last, I can rest
At last, my heart is healed
