Faith knew she needed to kill him and at that very moment he thought it was the end, he can't fix her.
"Just do it", Damon stared at her, blood running from his lips.
Faith pressed the stake harder on his chest; she looked him in the eyes as he said those words.
"Do you really want to know?" the girl asked him, he was curious.
{A couple of minutes ago}
The girl just walked right into the bar and started throwing punches at everyone. Damon stared at her, the chaos spread fast and everyone was just going nuts fighting each other, he almost laughed at the same time another man tried to punch him but ended up smashing himself on the floor.
Damon took another sip of his cup and then suddenly the girl was in front of him.
"Woah" he said, then the girl threw a punch at him, he thought it wasn't worth defending himself, she was just a girl. He should have known better, the punch she threw blew him off his seat and left him crouching in the floor.
She stared at the guy, a smirk on her face.
"What the hell… who are you" she kneeled in front of him.
"Do you really want to know?" she smiled "vampire". He looked at her; she knew what he was, but how? Was she a vampire too? No, he could hear her heartbeat, she was something else.
She prepared to throw another punch at him, her eyes looked cold but he noticed something else... sadness.
"Police!" the men entered the bar and everyone started to flee, Faith stared at the vampire, then she thought she could kill him next time, she got closer to him and whispered in his ear, "we'll continue this another time" then ran through the back door.
"You think you know me, but you don't" she looked at him, she was angry. "There is so much pain, I can't turn a switch like you so I have to live with it"
He looked at her, she was so much more than he had ever imagined, a slayer, an assassin; and somehow they had ended up here, talking about each other's feelings and he hated to talk about his feelings.
"I know how you feel," he finally said, "you can hunt every monster out there, make every single deed to redeem yourself but nothing ever erases what you feel deep inside, and trust me, not even turning off your feelings will ever be enough". She tried to stay strong; she couldn't let herself connect with a vampire, even though he made her feel different. He did understand her and that made her angry, she was supposed to kill him, but then again, not all vampires were evil, she fought this thoughts.
She was broken, Damon knew that but maybe that was what drew him in the first place, she was broken like him.
She hated this confusion in her head, she grabbed the stake she carried with her and threatened Damon with it.
"I should've killed you when I had the chance" she stared at him, her hands were shaking.
"Faith"
"Shut up!" she threw a punch making his lip bleed, she cornered him pushing him against the wall, stake in hand.
"Just do it", she stared at him.
"But, before you do, you should know… you don't have to be alone, trust me when I say this - I might be going crazy- but I actually like you, and I think you can still try… to make amends" she felt a pain in her chest, she let go of the stake, her body crumbled in front of him, she was crying. He kneeled and hold her in his arms.
"It's ok" he whispered, "I'm here".
