CHAPTER 1

BETHESDA NAVEL HOSPITAL

12:00 PM

FRIDAY

JANUARY 15th

MCGEE'S P.O.V

I was in a dreamlike state. I could hear everything that was going on, But I couldn't move, talk or see. I heard someone walk into the room and sit down.

"We got her, McGee. We got Elisha. It's over. Everyone's ok. You should see Jacob and Jadyn. Their getting so big! Jade is such a sweetie, and Jacob is a trouble maker. You can Deffinantly tell their Tony and Ziva's kids! I need you to wake up McGee. I want to have Kids with you some day. I'm going to Canada to meet up with Kalyn. She's my Niece. You would like her. She is almost exactly like Sarah. Except a little more… Eccentric. I wrote you a poem. Not that it will help any. I'm not even sure you can hear me. But it wouldn't hurt right?"

I wanted to shout out that I could hear her, But it was no use.

"Once there was a girl who did something bad

She took for granted everything she had

She had a chance to be with the one she loved

But she missed the sign from above

She stormed out on their wedding day

Little did she know she would have to pay

Later that day She knew not

That the one she loved would get shot

Now she just wants it all to be over

She wants him to wake up, So they can be together forever."

"Wake up soon. Please."

'I'm sorry Abby! I didn't mean to yell at you! I'm trying! I really am!'

I heard her get up. A little while later, I heard more footsteps. I thought it was just the doctor coming to check on me.

"Hey Probie."

'Tony?'

"Just thought I'd come check in on ya. If Abby hasn't talked to ya yet, She is going to Canada. Gonna go see her Niece. Been talking about it not stop all week. Jadyn is just like her Momma. And Jacob, Well… He is a mixture of the two of us. And you probably know what that means. Ha. He has been trouble since day one. But they're both adorable. You need to wake up Tim. Jade and Jake need their uncle McGee. And Abby needs you to."

With that, He left the room.

UNKNOWN LOCATION

"WHAT?!"

"I'm sorry sir, But its confirmed. Your daughter is dead."

"Do you know who killed her?" He said in a low voice, barely above a whisper.

"What?"

"I SAID DO YOU KNOW WHO KILLED HER?!"

"Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs."

He snapped his phone shut.

"Daniel! Get in here!"

He rushed into the room.

"Is she on her way back?"

"Elisha is dead. Book a flight to America. I have some… Lose ends… To take care of."

'If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself.' Was his last thought as he Left to start packing.
