*Note: This goes back to when Beck & Jade just started dating. He didn't know much about her, but it was like the third time she had come over to his RV. This is also the first time she mentions scissors.

My Prompt: Jade's Special Scissors

Third Person POV

Beck opened the door to see his amazingly beautiful girlfriend, Jade, standing at the doorway. Her black hair cascaded down her shoulders, and fell in line beautifully with her eyes. Those bright blue rings of ice melted w/ her smile, and she, for once, actually seemed happy.

"Hello beautiful," he said, extending his arms out to wrap them around Jade's waste. "How long do you plan on staying this time?"

"Oh, Just the night," Jade smirked her signature smirk. "Unless... you don't want me to."

He laughed. "Why would I turn down an oppurtunity to spend time with my amazingly perfect girlfriend?"

"You can say that again."

She made her way to the couch and sprawled herself out before flicking the TV on.

"Wanna watch a sappy romance movie?"

Jade laughed. "You know me better then that."

Beck moved over to the couch and sat down next to his girlfriend. Soon, they were entangled with each other: her head on his lap, his hands through her hair. She would sometimes shift positions, but spent most the time with her head on his lap.

"Up next, the killer, only on the Horror Network," the TV announced. It was nearly 11pm, and she looked up into his eyes.

"Can we stay and watch it?"

"Sure," Beck answered stroking the blue in her hair. "Anything for you, babe."

He got up and found her a black blanket. Wrapping it around her shoulders, he was giving her a sense of comfort.

"Want some popcorn?"

"Mhm," she nodded, eyes still fixated on the screen. "No salt, Real butter only."

Beck laughed a genuine happy laugh. Jade was such a pest, between her needs and her pickiness. But he loved her just that way. "I know how you like it."

"Mmm."

He began to cut the wrapper off of the popcorn bag with an old pair of silver scissors that creaked as they cut.

"Are those scissors?" she asked, attention shifting from the TV. Her eyes burned holes into the shiny metal object in his hand.

"Uhmmm... Yea?" Beck answered, looking confused. He hoped she didn't have an issue with them.

Jade's icy blue eyes lit up, and sparkles danced around inside of them. She smiled, a rare thing, and opened her mouth to speak.

"May I... touch them?"

She had asked politely, so Beck agreed. Jade was never ever polite, so it shocked him. The scissors we're handed over to Jade, and she held them as if they we're tiny delicate angel wings.

Jade's signature smirk appeared once again across her lips.

"I love scissors. Love them."

Beck wasn't shocked by this bit of news. A sharp, pointy obeject that had the potential to hurt someone. Of course, Jade showed interest. She was in love.

"Listen to the sound this pair makes..."

"Uhmmm... Babe?"

"LISTEN!" Her eyes lit up as she screamed, and Beck did. She was filled with joy, something people rarely saw in her.

"Can I keep them?"

She looked like a small child asking to keep her most prized possessions.

"Of course. Anything for you." He turned back to the popcorn bag.

She smiled, though he could see it. "I love you, Beckett."

Jade's love was genuine, and so was Beck's as he replied, "I love you, too."

Beck then realized this was the first time she had said I love you first. Since that day, those scissors never ever left Jade's side again.
