I was at an arcade yesterday and this popped into my head. It's pure fluff (my first one). Side note, this may seem like ditzy Cat but it's not. I am opposed to writing her dumb, so yeah.
"Yay!" Cat squealed with delight, slightly jumping up and down.
Jade smiled a little and shook her head at Cat's over enthusiasm. It was adorable. Cat looked around, not sure which game to play first. Jade grabbed her hand and pulled her to a gun shooting game. She liked these ones. She put the coins into the machine and the game began. Cat's eyebrows were furrowed a little with concentration. She shot enthusiastically. She was really into the game. Jade had thought she wouldn't like it. She looked at their scores and noticed Cat was beating her. "Oh no, you don't," she said.
Cat looked over at her then back at the screen and shot with more determination. They were so into it trying to beat each other. By the end they were laughing hard and pushing each other's guns away so the other would miss and lose.
Cat stuck her tongue out to Jade, she'd won. Jade smiled and shook her head. They got out and went to play some other games. Jade was walking to an air hokey table when she felt a hand on her wrist yank her in the opposite direction. She turned to see who had dared do that and saw Cat looking longingly at a photo booth. She rolled her eyes again. Cat looked at her with her big brown eyes. Another eye roll. Cat smiled and got in, knowing Jade would follow suit.
Cat puckered her lips for the first shot; Jade stuck her tongue out at Cat. For the next one, they both did "Home Alone" looks, putting their hands on their cheeks and opening their mouths as if they were screaming. For the third, Cat surprised Jade with a kiss on the cheek. Jade couldn't help the smile that bloomed on her face. For the last one, Cat just looked forward and smiled, Jade mostly looked serious but had a little smirk on her face.
Jade was about to step out but Cat grabbed her face, turned her toward her and kissed her. This Jade liked; loved actually. They broke the kiss and suddenly Jade wanted to get out of this place and go somewhere more private. They got out of the booth and Cat basically ran to the hokey table. So much for leaving, Jade thought. She figured she could just wait. She was having a lot of fun here with Cat anyways.
