Giggling. Giggling is what woke Amy up in the middle of the night. She blinked her eyes opened, and heard loud giggles, coming from the console room. Rory, was still sleeping, but Amy wasn't as heavy a sleeper.

Amy walked out of their room, and entered the control room. The doctor was sitting there, looking at his screwdriver with pride. On the ground, lay wood splinters.

"Why are you giggling?" Amy asked irritably. The Doctor looked at her, a goofy smile plastered on his face.

"It does wood!" he giggled. Amy raised an eyebrow.

"Really," she asked. "You're giggling, because it works on wood?" the Doctor smiled.

"Yep!" Amy shook her head fondly.

"You are so ridiculous!" she laughed. The Doctor looked at her.

"It works on wood!" he said again, an ecstatic smile on his face.

"You are so ridiculous!" Amy launched into a laughing fit. An indignant look crossed the Doctor's face. He subconsciously straightened his blue bowtie, which only caused Amy to laugh harder. The Doctor Pouted. Rory came into the room.

"What's going on?" he asked sleepily. Amy pointed at the Doctor, and laughed harder.

"She's making fun of me for being happy that this works on wood!" he complained, holding up his screwdriver.

"He was giggling!" Amy choked out. Rory looked at the Doctor, confusion written across his face.

"You giggled that your screwdriver does wood?" he asked. The Doctor nodded. "You're stranger than I thought." He said, heading back to his room, leaving Amy laughing at the Doctor. The Doctor set to work on his bench.

"What are you doing?" Amy asked him a few minutes later, once she had calmed down. The Doctor turned, an evil smirk on his face. He pointed the screwdriver at her.

"Making it do hair!"
