Episode 1- Eyes of Iron
Hakumai quickly let out breaths as he pressed his sword against the earth, blood dropping from his forehead. His orange eyes peered out from behind the cloth he wore over them, trying to find the figure that was fighting him. A soft laugh brought his attention upwards and he lifted his Nodachi up rapidly blocking the strike of a trident spear, as the female gave a horrific blood-lustful smile into his face as she slowed to the ground. "Fuck." he growled before raising his sword up throwing her back into the air before racing to a better vantage point in the waste-land. The girl landed back on the ground very slowly, her deep lilac eyes visibly changed with a make-shift pupil due to her kekkai-genkai. "Hinata enough!" Hakumai shouted as he lifted his sword higher, unsheathing the bright blue blade which glimmered brighter as it lifted higher into the sky. She just smiled darkly in response as she lifted her spear, the tip glowing dark violet as her gaze narrowed. "Hinata...don't make me..." he whispered as the large sword glowed brighter, his energy pouring into it. She only laughed and shot foreword, the spear tips size increasing due to the energy pressure.
Hakumai quickly struck the sword into the ground, the blue energy firing into the very earth and severing it. The spear grazed over the top of his head as he was swallowed into the very earth, falling fast into the blue energy. Above him Hinata looked down, her eyes narrowed as she screamed out his name. Hakumai felt warm as he fell into the vaporous energy, slowly drifting into the silence. 'Hinata...why? Why would you do this to us?' he thought to himself as he fell slowly to the ground, his eyes slowly pulling shut as the pleasant energy pulsed into his body. Light drifted into his eyes and he smiled at it believing that it was the gates of paradise beckoning him.
Droplets of water fell into the small river as Hakumai felt himself teeter side to side from movement. His orange eyes opened to the trees above and the chirping of birds, a world that seemed like paradise to the waste-land he once knew as his home. "Is this heaven?" he mumbled softly before his eyes moved to the figure that was carrying him. He first noticed the bright blonde hair and the head-band that was wrapped tight around his forehead. "Huh...who are you?" he asked softly as his vision began to grow blurry again. "You must not be from around here if you don't know who I am." the boy stated as he continued walking before leaping onto the river bank, setting him down on the ground. Hakumai looked up with his bleary eyes, spying the bright blue gaze and the whisker like marks on the boys cheek. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki, and I think I just saved you." he laughed as he held out his fist with a thumbs up. Hakumai found himself smiling for a single moment before his head lulled back, smacking against the tree as he passed out again.
