Eren lied in his back against the soft mattress of his bed as he listened to the loud music that filled his room. His arm was in his forehead as he stared at the ceiling, lost amongst the words of a song. It took him to another place and time, not so long ago.

'Til all my sleeves are stained red
From all the truth that I've said

Something that will light those ears

He said as he smiled an eerie smile, his eyes glistening against the light or maybe something deep from within him. It caught his mind in wonder, as he replied in a hushed tone, sharing the air of confidence with him.

"What is it?"

"Come with me. Let us fly through time."

He turned to his side now, as the hazy memory lifted away from his consciousness drifting farther to the light that engulfed him, forever and beyond.

"Call to me. I will be there."

He ran and ran, never stopping, never looking back, as he screamed his name at the top of his lungs.
Find him. Find him.
Just once again. Just once more.
He crashed to his knees as he came to a halt, reaching the hearth past amongst the silent walls of trees. He smelt the earth and leaves as it endured beneath him like it always did. The gentle winds hushed his turmoil as he listened, and desired for him to come back.

He felt as the surface awakened once more as he faced the light that embraced the world around him. Warm, bright, alive.
He reached out and he was there, his smile ethereal, wondrous. He felt his hands against his as his feet left the ground beneath him.

"Take me with you. Don't leave me."

The light danced in his eyes as everything swayed against time. He will not let go of his hand. Not today, not forever.

"We shall fly through the heavens, to the earth and everything in between."

"Fly with me Eren."
" Fly."
