There was something.. special with the gray haired girl. Though she behaved like she was nothing more than the child her appearance gave away, and had won the love of about everyone in the Organization (even the hard-flirted ones Saïx and Vexen) with her overwhelming cuteness and non-existent common sense, there was sometimes a deeper intelligence dwelling behind her big, sparkly eyes.

It was that intelligence that made her interesting for Xemnas, the Superior of the group of sixteen nobodies. Originally, they were planned to be thirteen, and hence the name "Organization XIII", but three more people, the little girl included, had shown up, having skills the strategic leader could not deny.

And so two of his new recruits, no. XIV and no. XV, was in the kitchen as he walked by in the corridor. Normally, Xemnas wouldn't have paid attention to the little scene, but he froze for some reason, peeking in though the door frame.

"..like this." There was a soft, almost vibrate voice speaking. A pleasant voice, giving resonance deep into every person hearing it. That voice belonged to a young woman of unearthly beauty, standing by the table, her ankle length, black hair in a long braid.

Beside her sat one of the cutest children you could imagine, with gray hair and big eyes that seemed to sparkle at everything happening in the room.

Now the thing wouldn't have caught the Superiors eye, unless the dark haired one was just holding something as simple as a wooden spoon, showing the little girl how to mix whatever was in the bowl in front of them.

"See, Silexio?" she just said, her voice sending a shiver down Xemnas' spine from nothing but simple pleasure of listening to her. Though he didn't really like the young woman, he thought that he in that moment understood what Saïx - his second-in-command - saw in her. Or at least in her voice. "If we don't mix it up properly - the muffins are going to be lumpy and not taste good."

"Muffin?" the little girl named Silexio repeated, pointing at the bowl with an eyebrow raised. She looked like what'd just been explained was an extremely difficult passage concerning quantum physics. "Muffin in bowl?"

She leaned forwards and was caught by a hand on her fore-head just in time before the plunged her head into the mixture.

"No", the older girl explained slowly, "not yet. We're going to make muffins out of it."

"A..ha.." Tough it was an answer in the positive, Silexio didn't sound like she'd understood anything. "So.. muffin later?"

"That's right!" The encouragement was perhaps slightly exaggerated. "After we've put it in the oven."

When pointing at the kitchen machine that was just heating up - Silexio imitated the move with a grin on her lips, repeating: "Assel!"

"Yes.. Sort of."

Xemnas smiled as he started walking again, and as strolling down the corridor, he could hear the hatch to the oven open, and the vibrate voice hurrying to say: "No, Silexio, not yet!"

"But.. first Assel - then muffin?"

"Yes.." and the response made Xemnas chuckle, "but you see, dear, we have to put it in the forms first."
