I don't own Doctor Who or Worm. That said this is my first story and i suck at writing. However i do have a active imagination and this just had to get out. If someone wants to use this as inspiration for there story go right ahead. Also I have not read worm, Ive read a bit but got hooked on the fan-fiction for it so if there's some continuity errors forgive me.
"I had always wondered what I was going to do, I know that nothing would be the same… I would be tearing off the blinds from the world, but if that is what it took to save the world then I guess we just have to get used to a bigger, wider, scarier world."
-Skitter before fighting scion
"I had never had to use them before, the temptation was always there from my first fight against Lung, to Bakuda and all the others. It always was just overkill you know, if bugs were enough then why resort to that which goes bump in the night."
"I wonder how I never snapped those days when I first triggered. You see I know objectively what is in my range and it was a shock when my bugs felt statues move touch people and cause them to disappear, but I guess I just had my eyes opened and I knew we weren't alone and we hadn't been for quite some time."
Scion landed across from me and started walking closer, some how knowing that I would not be an easy kill. "Please, don't make me do this." I said as he continued closer. I sighed, relaxed and put my hands in my pockets. "I guess this is it. The curtain comes off. Heh, I never thought the day would come. Always holding back but I guess if there had to be a time for it then now is as good as ever." I breathed out and the shadows from all the rubble around us started to move. They twisted and turned as they approached.
Scion paused "What…" he said his voice quiet and halting like he didn't quite know how to convey his meaning.
"This. This is just your death, you may be able to do amazing things but now your marked, I've given the order you see and no I have never lied about my power it always was control of small Invertebrates. Its just that these guys never show in any significant numbers, In fact those specks of dust you see in the light are sometimes them millions strong but this, this is my masterpiece 1 quadrillion Vashta Nerada enough piranhas of the air to eat even you, you over inflated space wale. Already they're inside you they have been for a while now. Isn't it funny how everyone has a fear of the dark. The order of magnitude changes person to person but its always there and this is why, microscopic meat eaters that don't die. Enjoy your afterlife and good riddance.
All that was left at this point was a hand reaching out from shadowed ground and even that slowly sunk away.
Hope you enjoyed and have a good day there probably wont be any 80'000 word long stories coming from me but there may be more one shots like this in the future.
