The Greatest Words are the Simplest

My memories of you are fading but lasting. As long as I remember your face, my memories will survive the test of time and beyond. You were my world, even when the simplest words could not exit my mouth. The simplest words with the greatest meaning to you, to me, to us.

You dreamt for me, was for me to accomplish my deepest desires and secrets. But I always thought you would be at my side for an eternity. I lost you without me telling you how much you meant to me. How much I treasured our moments together, the unspoken words hanging in the silence. The silence that always existed between us, even though we were closer then words can ever describe. These precious moments invade my dreams, my routine, me. Even when we were at odds with another, you treasured them without a second thought. Without a double take, you always tried to treasure our relationship.

I am saying this confession to a stone instead of you. My words are carried off in the wind. I pray somehow these simple words reach you, where ever you are.

So maybe, just maybe, even though we are apart and we may never meet again.

I say this;

I love you. I always have and I always will.
