Sam began crying bitterly. He clutched on to Frodo who seemed too weak to keep going. They were so close to destroying that cursed ring but they both lacked the energy to continue…
No. Samwise Gamgee wasn't about to allow some stupid ring get the better of him. He was going to get Frodo up that mountain even if it killed him.
"I can't carry it for you," Sam said getting to his feet, "But I can carry you!"
He lifted Frodo on his shoulders and staggered a bit.
"Woah Sam." He heard his friend whisper. The Hobbit grunted a bit as he took his first step…
… and he unceremoniously fell backwards, causing Frodo and him to plunge to their deaths. Ah, yes. The destruction of Middle Earth at the shoulders of one Hobbit.
