Is there an end?

Alice tiptoed down the hallway, past the grandfather clock, past the withering flames in the fireplace, and finally to the crimson door of her family's mansion. She wrapped her thin shawl around her wide shoulders and stepped into the night.
Alice had realized over the stony cold years of being here, trapped inside this house with the tight dresses, the prim expectations, she had had enough.
It had been 4 years since her journey to wonder land and she was returning. There was no snowy rabbit to lead her to the hidden hole of which he had disappeared, but only instinct. She stared into the seemingly never ending hole wondering if now was the time to turn away but knowing that she had witnessed a miracle and belonged to it not this... place. she shook her head sadly and let her body tumble into the hole. As she feel she felt eyes watching her, no matter where she turned those eyes were following her as her dress billowed out under her, exposing her bare legs.
And then suddenly a figure dismounted from the wall, holding out his arms to catch her and then hooked him self onto her ,let them fall for a bit, and unleashed grasshoppers legs which clung to the walls like magnets and sprang up flinging them into the air, all the while getting closer to the top of the hole.
"Who are you?" Alice asked through the hazy sunlight of her world's morning. "I am a man." "No regular man." "Are you not satisfied with my reply?" He asked in a mocking tone. "I don't believe I am." She said stiffened by his lack of respect. "I am a grasshopper man. My kind is brethren to the fairy folk." "I find that hard to believe." She said glancing at him. "Have you not forgotten the magic of wonder land?" He laughed "Humans are stupider than I thought!" "You have seen something with your own eyes and yet you still persist in saying you were dreaming!" "I do believe... I have seen much more of wonder land then you suspect." She raised an eyebrow as she scanned his body. "But I have never seen anything like you in wonder land before!"
