Lieutenant Adventures The Novel Series Featuring the 1st Lieutenant Story 1 18 April 2000. Ezmerelda's Farewell.
The Lieutenant stood.
"Exterminate." said a Dalek somewhere outside the TARDIS.
"Lieutenant, do I have to fight? I don't want to."
The Lieutenant looked cross. "Ok. No. I'll take you home."
"What do I do, Lieutenant?" asked Willy.
"There should be some guns lying around outside. Show no mercy, just fire." instructed the Lieutenant.
"Yes, Sir." said Willy and went outside the TARDIS.
"It's madam." muttered the Lieutenant.
The TARDIS dematerialised.
"Tell me a bit about yourself." said the Lieutenant.
"Where do I start? asked Ezmerelda.
"Job?" asked the Lieutenant.
"Television Writer."
"I've done well, ain't I, eh?" asked the Lieutenant. "Willy's a composer, you're a television writer! I wondered if you could help me. When the TARDIS materialises, can you bring me a bottle of pills? asked the Lieutenant.
"What type?" asked Ezmerelda.
"Doesn't matter." said the Lieutenant.
"I know someone who's wanted to fight a war from a young age. You could take her on. She lives with me." said Ezmerelda
"Yes, yes, if she wants it, I don't have to process her. What's her name?" asked the Lieutenant.
"Cassie Isaacs, everyone calls her Engross."
"Yeah, sounds good." said the Lieutenant.
The TARDIS materialised.
"Right then. Let's meet Engross." said the Lieutenant.
Ezmerelda opened the doors and walked out and into the house.
3 minutes later Engross ran out and stopped with a salute.
"Oh, yes. You'll do." said the Lieutenant. She was impressed.
Ezmerelda came back out with a bottle of pills.
"Thanks, Ezmerelda, Engross is coming with me." said the Lieutenant.
"Yay." said Engross.
The Lieutenant smiled.
The Lieutenant and Engross went into the TARDIS.
The TARDIS dematerialised.
"Wow." said Engross.
"Do you like it?" asked the Lieutenant.
"Yeah."
"Are you ready for this?" asked the Lieutenant.
"Yes. I'll serve as co-head, Ez told me you were head."
"Yes, you can if you like, What species are you?" asked the Lieutenant.
"Human Remembrance." said Engross.
"Ah." The Lieutenant put on the Scanner.
The Scanner read Destination: Gallifrey Time: Time War.
The TARDIS materialised.
The Lieutenant turned off the Scanner.
"What's your job?" asked the Lieutenant.
"Chemical Engineering Tchnician." said Engross.
"Off you go, then." said the Lieutenant.
Engross left the TARDIS.
The Lieutenant left a short time later and locked the door.
Engross was very good at this and was helping Willy get better.
The Lieutenant was please by her decision of companions.
