Chapter 1: Journey to the Past

A/N: Hey, everyone. Got another addition to the insanity that is my fanfiction collection. This time, it's a Harry Potter fic called Chrono Power. And, like most of my collection, it's a crossover fic with the likes of the animes known as Naruto, Dragon Ball Z Yu-Gi-Oh.

Now, for those interested in the general idea of this fic, it's based on the idea I had gotten from Harry Potter and the Time Mage. But, unlike Time Mage, this fic will cover all seven books, a prequel volume (about Harry's life before Hogwarts) and a finale volume taking place about a decade after Harry defeats Voldemort.

By no means, does this mean that I'm giving up on my other fics (of which there are over 100 of them in various fields). I got myself in the mindset of working on a small handful of fics, then working on a few different ones while I work on getting some more ideas piled up for the previous fics. And I plan on continuing the cycle till my fics are done (even the Final Fantasy epic History of Ivalice the tokusatsu superhero fic series Superhero Taisen).

I do apologize for the shortness of the chapter. Wanted to set the immediate tone and reveal a surprise ally of Harry's. So, without further ado, let the fun begin!

England was burning. And, at the epicenter of all the fire, was Hogwarts. The magical school was crumbling under the assault from the forces of Voldemort. The wizard in question was killing his way to a hut on the grounds, where a group of wizards witches were keeping the Death Eaters from getting inside. Inside the hut, Harry Potter was performing an ancient ritual that would send a person back in time. Also with him were the last of his friends, the others having been killed by Voldemort over the years.

One of them asked, "Are you sure about this, Potter?"

Looking over at the speaker, Harry said, "It's the only choice we have to win this, Parkinson. Voldemort will win if I don't do this."

The other person in the hut asked, "Why you, Harry?"

Turning his head to look at his red-haired (and very pregnant) wife, he said, "There's no one else with the power to survive this, Gin. Besides, I can get Sirius out of Azkaban long before he escapes. That and, if I manipulate certain events to my advantage, this timeline will only be a memory."

Looking outside, Pansy said, "Um, Potter. Whatever it is you're planning to do, do it now. Voldemort about to breach the wall."

Nodding, Harry started the ritual, performing it at speeds that seemed inhuman. As soon as Harry finished the ritual, the wall that Pansy was standing next to caved in, covering the raven-haired witch under the rubble.

Without thinking for her safety, Ginny stepped in front of Harry and said, "Go, Harry. I'll see you again. Just remember, our child did not die in the past, because it was never conceived." Unfortunately, any words Ginny was going to say next was cut off, as Voldemort used the Killing Curse on her.

Steeling himself for the trip, Harry uttered these words before he disappeared "Your time is over, Tom." With that said, Harry James Potter was gone from the future and appeared in the past.

A/N: And that's the end of that. Next 'official' chapter will have Harry meeting up with Yugi Moto Gohan, along with a handful of others that'll make up the future team of the next generation of Marauders. And, for those who noticed that the anime Naruto is a part of this, there won't be an appearance by anyone from there until much further down the road.
