Rainy Day
It's happened while raining after school…
"A… it's raining again." Misaki mumble herself while walking home; because of this raining season Misaki's school has short the time for clubs activities. While Misaki hold the umbrella, she takes a look at the ground to check her boot. "My boot are soaking wet, just nice." After that Misaki give a sigh.
A few meters away Misaki will reach her house but on the way home Misaki heard a cat meowing. Because she were curious to found out where the sound came from Misaki keep looking in the bushes if the cat were there. Finally Misaki found a white wet cat in a soak cardboard box. Misaki felt guilty to walk away from what just she saw, Misaki leave her umbrella on top of the cardboard box for the cat to lull under it.
After that Misaki smiling to the cat and then she start running while she put her beg on top on her head. As Misaki reach the crossing road, the pedestrian lamp start to flicker from green to red, 'Oh, please don't!' shout Misaki in her heart, Misaki running as fast she could but still can't make it. The pedestrian lamp became red as Misaki arrive, so she wait like uneasy position suddenly someone reach her an umbrella.
"Yo, nee-chan!" greet the person that Misaki know well, Misaki look at the person that kindly share a umbrella with her, it's Kai beside him are Miwa that greet he just now. Misaki look at them without saying anything then she reply Miwa's greet "Aa…" before the light turn green Miwa take a chance to ask Misaki "Nee-chan where's your umbrella you didn't bring it along?" Misaki turn her head to Miwa to reply his question "Well anything can happen, right." Right after Misaki answered Miwa question the pedestrian lamp turn to green, Misaki and Kai start to walk except Miwa; he goes to different direction.
"So, see you again Kai and nee-chan to!" Miwa greet them before he walks further. "A…" Kai replied simply "You to," Misaki replied with a smile. After that Kai and Misaki walk carefully while sharing an umbrella, without saying anything Misaki just look down at the road she walking on with her cloths were soak badly Kai looks at Misaki for a second and then he look at front. Suddenly Misaki say something, "Umm… thank you…" while her head still facing the ground. "It's not a big deal; you don't have to say 'thank you'." Said Kai without looking at Misaki, Misaki just smile and say "Is that so…"
After a long walking they reach at Card Capital, they stop together quickly Misaki running to avoid the rain. Misaki look at Kai because he still in front of her, then he smile and walk away without saying anything, Misaki reply his smile then she realize Kai right shoulder wet, at first Misaki are shock but then she smile with a little laugh Misaki say "Is that 'not a big deal', thanks for your all hard work, Kai."
