Raven woke up sweating and trembling, she was breathing heavily as looked around hastily. She felt calmer when she realized she was in her room again. She sighed as she stood up a little unsteady. Her head was throbbing. She massaged her temples slowly as she took her blanket and wrapped it around her. She always got these nightmares, and they never seemed to stop.

She walked slowly, touching the wall with her fingertips for support. She walked through the hallway and stopped when she heard a silent sob coming out of a room. It was too dark for her to see anything so she stopped for a few seconds, until she didn't hear anything else.

"Probably my imagination" She thought.

She walked to the kitchen and boiled some water in the kettle. She leaned against the counter and closed her eyes. She thought about if someone was actually crying. She then thought of the possibilities. Robin, never seen him cry.., Cyborg couldn't exactly cry since he was well.. a cyborg, Starfire was the only one who actually could have been crying except Raven couldn't think of anything that Star could be crying about. Her last choice was Beas-

She suddenly heard a high-pitched whistle.

Raven jumped up and her thoughts flew away. She reached for her mug and a teabag. She took the kettle and poured the hot liquid into the mug and stirred it slowly. She yawned and checked the fridge for a quick snack to eat. She didn't find anything good so she closed the fridge and saw the calendar.

"Thank god it's Cy's turn to cook." She spoke to herself.

But then she realized that today, right now, is the anniversary of Marie and Mark Logan's death. Beastboy's parents passed away today.

"Oh no. He's the one that's been crying.."

She quickly walked over to Beastboy's room and put her ear to the door. She heard quiet sobs. Raven wasn't the best to talk with and besides, she didn't really know what to do. She tried to think about what to do but then thought that leaving him alone would probably be better.

The last time she heard him cry was when he was heartbroken because of Terra. He cried every night to himself when he thought nobody was awake, but Raven always heard him. Everytime he cried , she heard and she didn't do anything.

"Ugh, stupid stupid" She scolded herself.

She regret all those times she didn't go and comfort him, she wasn't the best at it but at least she could go and just let her presence make him feel better. She sighed and walked back to her room. She checked the clock and it read out 6:00 AM. She went to her bed and tried to sleep, but her thoughts kept on stopping her from sleeping. She rolled over almost a million times. She groaned and stood up again. Mabye she could go and check on Beastboy. She went to his room and knocked quietly.

"Beastboy?" She said. "You in there?"

He didn't answer, she should just leave.

She didn't want to leave yet though, she opened his door and stepped in.

He was asleep. He looked so peaceful, it didn't look like he was crying about ten minutes ago. She had to admit, he looked kind of hot now that we was seventeen. Puberty did do well to him. His face looked like it was carved by the jawline goddesses and he had some muscle now he als-

She snapped those thoughts out of her mind. Beastboy was just a friend, no more and no less. Although he did look cute when he was asleep. She leaned in closer to him and gave him a small peck on the cheek. She quickly walked back into her room and closed the door shut. She smiled to herself as she plopped herself down on her bed. She pulled her blanket closer.

"Well I hope he's feeling better now." She said finally before falling asleep.
